The nurse smiled reassuringly at the worried boys. "Your brother had some problems with his inhaler, but it's all right now. Nothing to worry about." she smiled. Luo chose that moment to sneeze loudly. "Luo Fei, for heaven's sake, cover your mouth when you do that!" she scolded the boy.

"Sorry. Can I sit somewhere?" His eyes lost focus, and Jiang Feng barely managed to bring him to the second bed before his knees gave in. Luo grabbed the nurse's hand.

"Don't call my mom," he begged.

"Luo Fei, sweetie..." the woman checked his temperature. "Thirty-eight and a half. I need to-"

"NO!" he tried to get up. "You can tell the Iron Fist, but not my mom. Not today."

"Stay down," Jiang Feng was torn between keeping Luo on the bed and turning to the other one, occupied by his brother. Fei blinked at him, sensing distress. Then he suddenly turned around. "Hey, Xin Bai, you ok there?" he asked, ignoring his own dizziness.

"I'll live. I was counting for some peace and quiet. How come I ended up with you in one room again?" Xin Bai was swinging his legs faster now.

"It's fate, man!" Luo grinned. Somehow, after talking to Da Qing and seeing the twins now, he was beginning to feel better again.

Xin Bai laughed gingerly and shook his head. How did Luo manage to hit jackpot every time he said something random. The laughter was suddenly interrupted by Luo's loud sneeze.

"I swear if you sell me those germs, I'm going to tear you limb from limb," the silver-haired boy threatened.

"I'd like to see you try," Luo smirked. He was laid down after the nurse made him take some pills, and he sighed when a cold compress landed on his forehead. Jiang Feng sat on his brother's bed, and they both stared at Luo. The kid asked for a tissue from time to time, and after cleaning his nose, he would "accidentally" toss it to Xin Bai. Then Xin Bai asked for some water, and after drinking a mouthful, he tried to spray it on Luo, pretending he had a sudden coughing fit. Unfortunately, Feng chose this moment to lean in, and the water landed on him. He sighed and wiped his face with his hand.

"Please, remind me how old you two are again," he folded his hands and pouted. Xin Bai looked horrified.

"I'm sorry, Feng Ge. It was an accident."

"An accident, my ass," Luo commented dryly. "You spit the gobful amount of water directly at your brother." He sneezed again, this time remembering to cover his mouth. "This sucks."

The nurse returned a moment later with the headmaster, who frowned at the boys in both beds. Luo tried to sit up again, and frustrated Feng pushed him back down by the shoulders and held him in place. That made the principal smirk.

"Mr Luo Fei, it is so good to see you being finally managed by someone responsible."

Luo scratched his nose and sighed dramatically. "My freedom has been significantly restricted." He sniffed, becoming serious again. "I apologise for making trouble, sir. But it's just a cold. I promise I'll be better in a day or so. And I will inform my mom, just, just not today, ok? She's at work. Just let her work," the skinny boy begged. The headmaster sighed, seeing tears in the young boy's eyes. He understood the situation and knew that Luo Ying liked to jump into the whirlwind of work and duties whenever she was running away from painful memories.

"Mr Luo," the Zhou Huajian's voice became soft. "I cannot let you go home alone in your state."

"Can we take him there?" Jiang Feng, who was still holding Fei with one hand, looked into the principal's eyes. The man thought, clearly torn.
