I found myself running from the nearby kingdom, the moon was bright so it shined right onto me. Making it easier for police officers to see me. Apparently one of the police officers was at the party where the person that I was assigned to kill was. They knew I was there somehow, probably because I usually get assigned party people.

I turned my head slightly to see the kingdom getting smaller and smaller the more I ran away from it. I looked forward again and ran into the forest. I slowed down as I ran into the forest, then sitting down to catch my breath. I figured the police had lost my trail, I slowly sat up then looking at my surroundings, "I never seen this place before.." I said, walking farther into the forest to then hear snoring, "Eh..? What the?" I slowly walked to the source of the sound and saw a hot topic cookie dressed in old rags sleeping while a bat.. Cat..? Thingy rested next to them. I stared at them for a moment, backing away slowly until the cookie opened their eyes. I ran away, disappearing into the trees. I kept running until my jacket fell, "God damnit!" I whisper shouted, now I had to run in the cold.

I slowed down and fell, "Ugh.. It's freezing out here.." I said, in a annoyed tone, "Um-" I heard a cookie behind me say, "ACK-" I said, startled. It was the emo cookie, "Don't scare me like that! You.. You-" I stuttered, looking for a insult before getting interrupted, "Err.. Here's your jacket." The cookie said, handing out my jacket for me to grab. "..Thanks..?" There was awkward silence between us until I took my jacket back. "So, err- What's your name?" The rags cookie said, "Why do you wanna know?" I said, in a annoyed tone.

"Why not? Are you like some criminal or something-" He said, "Yep." I interrupted, smirking a bit. "You've been living under a rock?" I continued, "If it makes you feel better, my names Licorice cookie." Licorice said, trying to make me warm up to him. "..My name's Y/N cookie." I said, hesitanting before I said my name, "Nice! Haha.." He laughed awkwardly for a bit before there was a moment of silence before I turned around and looked at the stars, "Well, gotta go get my money.. See you here again..?" I said by accident, Why'd I say that!? I didn't even mean to say that! I thought, angry at myself, "Sure..!" Licorice said, I was surprised but disappointed that I had to meet him. "Fine.. Same time tomorrow then." I said, before running away.

Though.. Why was I a little excited to meet him again?
