Blackberries/Blackberry Leaves:
Description: The plant has pinkish-white flowers. Each flier has five petals and produces one fruit crop a year. Carries a sharp scent.

Location: Grows in sunny areas. Can grow almost anywhere.

Use: The leaves are chewed into a pulp.

Effect: They ease the pain of bee stings.

Burdock/Burdock Root:
Description: Tall-stemmed thistle with a sharp smell and dark leaves. Has a bitter taste.

Location: Around thunderpaths, corrionplaces, or places with rich soil.

Use: The root is dug up, the soil is washed off, and then it is chewed into a pulp.

Effect: Soothes and heals rat bites especially if they are infected. Too much can give a bellyache. When applied, they can numb rat bites. They are also good for infected paws and other sores.

Celandine/Celandine Poppy/Greater Celandine:
Description: Yellow flower with four petals. Celandine poppy have bigger petals. Greater celandine has smaller petals.

Location: Damp and shaded areas in forests.

Use: Crushed into juice and trickled into the eye.

Effect: Soothes weakened or damaged eyes.

Chervil:
Description: A sweet-smelling plant with large, leafy, fern-like leaves and small white flowers. The roots are knobby and brown.

Location: Sides of thunderpaths, forest trails, or snakerocks.

Use: Leaves or roots are chewed into extract juice.

Effect: For infected wounds and bellyache. Can also be used during kitting.

Cobwebs:
Description: Long, thin, shiny strand spun into a web by spiders.

Location: All around the forest, especially in dens or caves.

Use: Pressed over wound as a bandage.

Effect: Soaks up, stops, or slows bleeding from a wound. It may also be used to bind broken bones.

Comfrey Root:
Description: It has large leaves, small bell-shaped flowers (which may be pink, purple, or white), and fat, brown roots.

Location: Damp, grassy places.

Use: Roots are chew into poultice. Can also be lined in one's nest.

Effect: Repairs broken bones or soothes wounds. Used for wrenched claws. Can be used for itching or for inflammation on stiff joints. Eases stiffness on wrenched shoulders when lined in a nest. Can be used for burns.

Dandelion:
Description: Common yellow-flowered plant with long, hallow stems. After flowering is finished, the flower transforms a sphere made out of hundreds of smaller white florets with seed heads at the bottom that connect to the flower head.

Location: Almost everywhere, especially in meadows.

Use: The white liquid in the flower stem can be used to bee stings. Leaves can be chewed. The roots can also be used to help cure effects of meadow saffron poisoning.

Effect: Thought to soothe and heal bee stings. Its leaves can also be chewed to act like a painkiller. Roots help cure effects of meadow saffron poisoning.

Dock/Dock Leaf:
Description: Common, large-leafed plant with a tangy smell and taste.

Location: Best in leafy areas. Doesn't grow well in mountains.
