"Din?!" You yell. You run through the crowded hallway. Mandalorian's eyed you as you ran... you didn't care though... you wanted to, you needed to win. "Din if you cheat I swear!" You yell knowing that he was close by. You stopped running. You were panting hard. Behind you came Din Djarin. You spin yourself around. "If you want to win that bad I could just sabotage myself." Your friend jokes. You meet his dark brown eyes. "Haha very funny Din" you roll your eyes and flick the back of your lekku off your shoulder. "Din Djarin, Y/N, come and eat!" You and Din give a daring smile to each other. "Race you!" You both yell. With that you bolted to the dining room. On your way there you bumped into a Mandalorian. He looks down at you and Din comes behind you. "Be more careful kids." He says with his modulator muffling up his voice. "Yes sir." You say in an apologetic voice. Din helped you up and you walked the rest of the way to the dining room. When you finally got there you see the armourer setting the table with two bowels and two small wooden spoons. You take a seat next to Din. The armourer sat with her own bowel after pouring some steamy soup into your bowels. Din looked at her in awe. "When can we get our own helmets?!" Din asks taking a sip of his soup. She let out a chuckle "When your 14" you sigh and look at the table. "What's wrong Y/N?" Din asks concerned. "It's just I'm never gonna get a helmet because I'm Togruta" you say stirring your soup with your spoon. Before the armourer could say anything you spoke again "and Twi'lek's can get a helmet but I can't because I have montrals!" You blurt out. "Y/N, the helmet may be one of the most important things to Mandalorian's but courage is too, you don't need a helmet to be courageous." She warmly replies to you. You warmly smile. You started sipping at your soup and eating some of the vegetables and meat in it. "I have a story to tell you both." The armourer says. You and Din exchanged looks of happiness and nodded itching to hear the story. "It's the story of how I met you Y/N... all those years back." You look at her, your montrals eager to hear more. "I was on Shili, i was still an apprentice myself and I was on my first mission as commander." She pauses. "IG-11's were slaughtering your people because of a serious malfunction, and I went with my friend to secure the perimeter of your village when I heard a rustle in a near by bush. Me and my friend thought it was a droid so we went to inspect the area." She let out a little chuckle. "Turns out it was a 6 year old Togruta... my friend put his hand out for you to take it but instead you ran the other way. .. we chased after you, just as you are now, you were very fast and agile. You outran my friend." You let out a chuckle and Din nudges you in the shoulder chuckling himself. "When I finally caught up to you, you brought me to a small bush, it was like a maze but you seemed to know where you were going pretty well. When you reached your destination I saw a Togruta woman, she looked just like you, unfortunately she was dead, an IG-11 got to her already, I'm pretty sure it was your mother." Her voice showed a hint of sadness in it. You sigh a little. "Then what happened?" You ask as curiosity filled you. "Well the Mandalorian's took you in, and about 1 year later I adopted Din, you two could practically be called siblings, I made sure to raise the two of you together." She says her voice now sounding proud and full of pride. You smile.

When you and Din finished eating you headed for the dojo where the two of you could practice your fighting. This time you didn't race but talked about your history and secrets, you played a few pranks on the other Mandalorian's as well saying you were siblings by blood, of course you told them the truth later. When you finally reached the sparring mats you caught Din off guard and jumped right into battle. Your favourite weapon to use was the long wooden spear. Stick fighting was your favourite. You grabbed a wooden spear (not a real one) and Mando chose a spear as well. The two of you rushed into fight and your 'spears' met, clashing, striking, sweeping, jumping, and clashing again. Din swept under your feet, you jumped and so he missed. You smile cockily. "Nice try but-" before you could finish your cocky sentence Din swept with his feet causing you to fall on the mat this time. You groan and sit up. Din gives you a helping hand. "You should talk less in battle." He chuckles. You couldn't help but join in and laugh with him.
