Akira (Y/N) POV:
The two of you made it back to the Crest. The sun was just setting by the time you got back. It kind of reminded you of the time when you and Din watched the sunset go down. You let a tear go down as the memory took over every other thought you had. Din. He was someone you hadn't thought nor seen about for a long long time. His death was a pain that you longed to forget about, but it was impossible, he always lingered around your mind, finding some sort of crack in the firewall that you created, at times it was annoying, and some other times you cherished it. "Are you ok?" Mando asks quite awkwardly. You shoot your head up. He must of taken recognition of the tear that fell. You quickly wiped it away. "uh-uh- i-i'm f-fine" you blurt out. You didn't have to count how many times you stuttered, you just knew it was too many to make your statement sound believable. Mando slightly shook his head and put the Crest on autopilot. He got off his seat and started to slowly walk to the ladder that led out of the cockpit. "Come." You didn't want to go because you knew he would ask you to spit out the whole story, which was something you would rather keep to yourself. You shake your head. You hear him let out a huff and he walks over to you. Without a word he takes your hand in his firm grip and lifts you up from your seat. You had no choice but to oblige. You followed him down the ladder and out of the cockpit. The two of you took a seat at a table. "Somethings been bothering you, i've noticed ever since I met you." Mando says getting straight to the point. "I don't really wanna talk about it." You whisper not daring to make eye contact. "I would usually respect that you don't wanna talk about it, but if it's effecting your everyday missions." You feel your legs tremble a little beneath the table, and you had to swallow really hard to get rid of the lump that kept on forming in your throat. "You can tell me Akira." Mando says attempting to comfort you. You close your eyes, take a breath, and nod your head.

"I h-had a friend named.... named.... named Din." You see Mando's hand slightly flinch and he leaned back in his seat. "Me and Din were on our first mission as assistants together, we went to Carlac. On our ship was an imposter, well the imposter... he...he poisoned my best friend Din." You say letting a tear emerge. Mando was silent. His hand was ever so slightly shaking, and his fingers were curled in clenching his palm. "M-Mando... you ok?" He remains silent. "Mando?" you repeat. "I'm fine." he says, then he scoots out of his seat and back into the cockpit. He clearly wasn't fine. Did you say something wrong? You didn't want to ruin your relationship with Mando so soon. Just like Din something wrong always happened when you felt safe. You let out a huff and climbed up to the cockpit with Mando. "Mando..." You whisper sadly looking to the ground with your hand held together. "yeah." he replies a little too angrily for your liking. "D-Did I do something wrong?" you question. Mando spins his. chair to face you. "Not that I know of." he replies. "O-Ok." you whisper taking a seat in the co-pilot seat. "So this friend of yours... who told you he died?" Mando asks as his hands flew over the buttons on the Crest. "t-the armourer." you reply. "ok you and me are going to have a little chat with the armourer." You just nod.
You let your mind stray about what Mando could have possibly been so mad about. It was made clear by the tone of his voice that he was mad at the armourer... but for what reason?
