Jean and others made it to the Inazuma and meet up with Aether and his gang. When they meet up with them Jean explains the situation to them about Kong.
Aether: Wait, Kong is in Mondstadt?
Lumine: I thought they were all wiped out by those things.
Paimon: Paimon is very curious about it.
Ei: Did you say Kong?
Jean: Uhhh... Yeah
Ei: Jean, to be honest, I believe that's Godzilla's old rival.
Jean: Ei, how do you know this?
Miko: There was an Ancient War between Godzilla's species and Kong's species, They all fought to the death.
Jean: What happened, Miko?
Miko: Godzilla species were victorious at first, but until the war was interrupted by a 3-headed dragon.
Aether: What is it?
Miko: King Ghidorah.
Diluc: What happens next?
Miko: They managed to defeat the Ghidorah but Skull Island was destroyed, Ghidorah's storm, forcing Kong species to move to your nation.
Jean: So that's what happens.
Aether: We better head to the Mondstadt to find out about Kong's true origins.
Ei: I'll go with you.
Aether: Okay.
Then they decided to go to Mondstadt by ship. But first, they went to MONARCH Facility to inform them about Kong's Existence which they agree to join. They need their Military escort for their expedition to another part of Mondstadt. Then it settled MONARCH will initiate the expedition in Mondstadt. Unbeknownst to Aether and his Gang, Godzilla sensed Kong's presence in Mondstadt, so he swam towards the Mondstadt to face his old rival.
Somewhere on the far side of Mondstadt.
Kong climbs up the mountains and sat on the cliff looking at the view. He saw the cave as went to investigate and he saw the cave paintings of himself with an axe but one covered by the boulder, so he moved the boulder to the side and saw full cave paintings of himself fighting against his old rival: Godzilla.
