This is an AU (Alternate Universe), meaning that nothing here is canon to the Dream SMP unless said otherwise.

A bit on the longer side :D

It's just Ranboo, mentions of other characters tho

He ran. He ran as fast as he could into the woods. It was dark, very dark, but thanks to his hybrid abilities he could see relatively well, even if everything had a hint of purple.

The angry barking of tamed wolves and the yelling of experienced hunters became louder, even though they still sounded farther off. His eyes widened as he tried to push himself to go faster, his heart in his chest beating very fast.

He stayed running, never taking a break. Even if his legs screamed in pain, even if the slash in his right arm kept bleeding with all the movement, even if the particles around him told him it was safe. He didn't want to stop, he couldn't. Not until he got back to his home. The home with all of his pets, his cats, his dog, even his pig whose only purpose in life is to eat carrots and ring a bell.

It was only when the sun began to awake from its slumber did Ranboo decide to sit down next to a tree. He had no communicator, no way to contact his friends, no way to determine where he was in the world. All he had was half a loaf of bread and a pocket knife he managed to snatch.

Before the pain in his body, mainly his torso, arms, and legs, was manageable. He could deal with it before, but now with his adrenaline dying off, the pain was intensely worse. Before it felt like little bruises and cuts, but now it felt like he was getting drowned in water. He didn't need an explanation as to why though, he experienced it first hand. He remembered it. Every single second of the abuse. The people chasing him wanted him. They wanted him to be hurt, to be abused, to be used for amusement. His pain was a joy to his captures.

The pain in his arm brought him back from his thoughts, and he hissed. It could be infected by now. He didn't have much to wrap around it, so he decided that the sleeve of his T-Shirt was the best he could do, even with how dirty and bloodied it was. Ranboo was thankful for his hybrid genes, he tore off his sleeve with his sharp fangs easily. He was regretfully grateful for his captures, too, for keeping his teeth as sharp and clean as they could. They said that if his teeth were nice and shiny, they could make a fortune with him. He cringed at the thought.

Using his left hand, the one that was damaged less, he made the torn fabric wrap around his cut arm. It was difficult, he was using only one hand and using his non-dominant hand. He got it on there, though, using his teeth and hand to tie a tight knot to keep the makeshift band-aid stay.

He looked up, his head touching the tree behind him, and closed his eyes, allowing himself to take a breather. He escaped around the middle of the night and didn't stop running until now. A gentle breeze flew through the woods, making the trees dance and rustle their leaves. A few birds sang their morning songs, making others join in. It was calming, and he wished he could stay there forever. Just stay in this moment and never leave. But he couldn't do that. He needed to get back home.

He doesn't know how long it's been since he was captured. He could guess it had been at least a week, but with his memory book taken away, he couldn't remember much. He remembered his closest friends, Technoblade, Philza Minecraft, Tubbo, and Tommy. He could also remember his pets, Enderchest, Enderpearl, Dogboo, Ranbun, and his many, many other pets.

Everything else was lost, lost in his book. The book that was taken from him, and probably read over and over again. All his secrets were now given to random people who hurt him, and some of the worst secrets were used against him.

The snap of a twig got his attention, his head immediately snapping towards the sound and his eyes flying open in fear. His heart beat rapidly once more, and in an instant, Ranboo was on his feet. He didn't dare make a sound, just in case the hunters were near. His breathing was fast, very fast, but quiet. Soon, a shape began to make its way into his view. It was a small rabbit. Its fur was dark brown, matching the forest's trees. It had bright green eyes.

Ranboo let his breathing slow down, becoming calmer. He didn't hear any dogs or people, just the little rabbit's nibbling on grass and the breeze rustling the leaves of trees. He thought for a moment before crouching down and taking a bit of his bread, holding it out to the bunny. The rabbit looked at him. He knew this look all too well, Ranboo making it himself. It was the look of uncertainty, the look he gave whenever he didn't know what someone's true intentions were. He wore this look a lot when he was held captive.

He didn't move, he kept the arm that held the bread out to the bunny. It slowly moved towards him. Once it was near enough, the rabbit took the piece of bread quickly, dashing off to behind the trees. Ranboo stood up, sighing. He should continue his travels. He was still in the DreamSMP as far as he knew, never going through any giant emerald portal. Those portals were the ones that were used to travel through servers. The DreamSMP had one, as did all servers. They were created right at Spawn but can be created anywhere with full emerald blocks. It was the same way a Nether portal was used, in the same shape and the same way it gets lit.

He turned around, walking further in the forest. He was hoping to come across a plain, where he could see the sun better. He guessed it was about midday, the sun making everything lit up but not blinding him. He was thankful for the light, he could actually see where he was going.
