1. HOMECOMING

"I've missed you so much!" - this was the first thing I have heard and a few seconds later I felt a tight hug. I dropped my bag and beamed with happines that I can finally cuddle my best friend again.

"I've missed you too. Few more days and I would distroy the whole Barbados Island. And the flight was just terrible. I belive that the pilot was intoxicated", I smirked as she giggled. I looked at Zoe's grinning face.

"But you're finally here! For me this whole month was so long without you..."

I decided to take a gap year, travel to as many places as I could and make a fresh start at university. At the moment, only 5 months went by and I had 7 more. Since I was a YouTuber and owner of GlowOfCharlie channel, I've spent first 2 months in London focusing on cooperation with M·A·C Cosmetics and Urban Decay. 3th, 4th and 5th month of my gap year I spent on travelling. I have visited some amazing places with bounch of my old friends from Glasgow and Liverpool starting from Santiago in Chile and ending in Upper Carlton located in the Barbados Island. But I still desire world and want to learn more about other cultures.

"I couldn't handle your daily vlogs any more. I feel so bad that I couldn't go with you."

"I did told you it's ok, didn't I? I still have a few months off so we can go wherever you want", I smiled.

"We definitely will! But today... tonight actually...", she smiled shifty. I looked at her and rised one eyebrow.

"Zoe? No... No, you did not!", I started as she giggled. "I'm really tired after the journey!"

"Yes, I did. And the party will start at any moment. You are the last missing part of it! Charlie, please say 'Yes'. It's just a little party, bounch of people, some good drinks... Caspar is a bartender", she winked.

"Bounch of people, sure. What people? Do I even know them?"

"Of course you do, silly bunny. Most of them at least... You have already meet Marcus, Alfie and Caspar. Louise also will be there. And Tanya and Jim! You like them, don't you? And you will make new friends, no big deal!"

"What about Joe?", I asked quietly.

Joe and I... it was a really complicated story. But it was also a good relationship. There just was no spark after a year of this realtionship and we decided to take a break. A really long break. I travelled to the South America and he focused more on friends, studies and didn't talk to me much. During my jurney he sent me two messages:

1) "How do you enjoy Chile? Telly says there isn't hot at all. Hope you have taken some warm clothes!"

2) "Zoe goes crazy without you. Hope you enjoy your break. Miss you..."

These last two words made my heart throb faster. Did I miss him? Sure I did. After whole realtionship thing we decided to be friends. So far it did not go too well...

"He didn't say yes or no so I guess we will know after we get there", she shrugged her shoulders. "But everything is alright between you two, I hope."

"I haven't seen him for 5 months. I think I miss him a little bit."

"Not as much as you missed me, right?!", she smirked.

"Sure thing, honey bunny", I grinned.

"I haven't got any wine or snacks...", I started, but Zoe interrupted quickly.

"And I would be astonished if you had something. Boys grabbed some Nando's or Wagamama's and drinks so don't worry."

"And who is responsible for... music?", I asked and rised my eyebrow when Zoe opened the doors of the flat. In the background we could hear sounds of 'Baby's on fire' by Die Antwoord. "I'm glad it's not...", I started, when the music changed. 'Kick the baby' by Klynch. "...dubstep", I finished.

"They will set better music in a minute, I promise", she smirked. "Hey, guys! I can't leave you alone for a second. What happened to Imagine Dragons, duh?!"

"It's all Sam and twins' fault. They said: 'Our music or no Nando's'", Tanya snickered.

"Awww, look who's here!", I heard behind me and make a little squeak when somebody hug me tightly. "I thought you have got lost somewhere in Latin America, babe!"

"I missed you too, Caspar", I moaned and dropped my bag on the floor.

"Ouch, leave her alone you South African bitch", I heard Alfie's voice and smiled.

"I absolutely missed your little fights, guys", I laughed and took off my bottle-green jacket. It was really warm in the flat.

"Zoe, you didn't tell that you will bring a hot chick here", said boy with straggly dark hair and in a loose sweatshirt with some pineapples on it. "I'm Sam", he added and smiled while sitting on the couch in the middle of the room.

"You're such a fuckhead, Sammy. You should greet a beautiful woman properly!"

"I bet you know twins from my vlogs", said Zoe.

"And you absolutely love us, don't you?", one of the twins cuddled her with a grin. "I'm Finn. Finn the better twin", he winked in my direction.

"I have't heard a bigger crap, but whatever Finny... I'm Jack. Jack the better chap", added the second one. I rised my eyebrow. "Want some Nando's?"

"Sure.... And I'm Charlie..."

I have taken one paper bag with Nando's from him and sat on the couch. I have been exhausted and surrounded by some weirdos. It will be a really long night...
