everyone is frozen/dating?

as the battle started, each person fought with one person.

meng yao fighting with jiang cheng and lan xichen fighting with nie mingjue.

jin ling fighting with jingyi while sizhui and nie huaisang faces off each other.

wei wuxian and lan wangji fighting jin luxia and nie axzia.

the crowd was roaring for more action as the fight started getting more heated.

jin luxia got out three talismans and created realistic looking illusion of her, trapping lan wangji away from wei wuxian, while on the other hand, for wei wuxian, he was now fighting nie axzia who unsheathed her dual blades and kept on attacking wei wuxian, which he gladly dodged all.

for jingyi and jin ling, they were just arguing while facing off each other. each of them traded moves and attacks while they just bad mouthed each other.

with lan sizhui and nie huaisang, they were battling it out away from their other team members because they both attacked forward with their body and swinging their swords all around. (nie huaisang actually has a golden core in this AU and is one of the skilled cultivators.)

now for the captains, each were doing a tag-team kind of fight. jiang cheng did have his sword, but he only used it to mount on while he mainly used zidian to fight. xichen, on the other hand, had shuoyue. but shuoyue was on its own while battling it out with baxia, the blade owned by nie mingjue. lan xichen and nie mingjue stayed with close combat, each waiting for an opening to make them weak for a while and get the flag along with their partner.

you could say that the team fight wasn't a 'team fight' now, since everybody was fighting on their own. from the look of it also, the Vermillion Blades seemed that their plan wasn't working, so they panicked quite a bit.

just when jiang cheng was about to attack meng yao with his zidian, meng yao instantly teleported behind him, not even wasting a sweat. he then pressed a pressure point of his lower torso, making him numb and temporarily paralyzed, almost falling over. turns out he placed a teleporting talisman by jiang cheng's back during their fight, but lan xichen quickly saw this and escaped from nie mingjue's attacks, charging towards jiang cheng, catching him by his waist and pushing meng yao away from him, and moved to the other side.

jiang cheng grunted a bit, raising his arm to hold onto lan xichen's shoulder for support. when lan xichen saw this, he quickly, outta nowhere, had a killing intention towards meng yao, glaring daggers at him, yet he knew that was against the rules and he could damage his face by doing that.

when nie mingjue sensed his dark intention, he quickly went by meng yao's side, who was quite intimidated by lan xichen's glare. both of them never saw this side of him, so they were both intimidated.

"have you ever seen him like this?" meng yao asked. nie mingjue answered, "nope, never."

the others of the Cloud Lotus team quickly noticed their team captains situation. and yes, CAPTAINS. because both of them needed help.

the other team members of the Vermillion Blades also noticed this and went to their captains. the  Cloud Lotus members also heading for their own team captains.

as the teams seperated on each side, lan wangji asked, "brother, calm down. what happened?"

wei wuxian sneered, "yeah, what happened? why do i sense dark aura around you? you're usually so happy and with a smile! and what happened to you, jiang cheng."

"my lower half got paralyzed. that's what happened." jiang cheng answered with an annoyed tone.

wei wuxian didn't reply but just giggle a little.

lan sizhui said, "should we just do the distracting idea? it's the only plan we have to win this challenge."

wei wuxian agreed, "yeah, sizhui is right, if we want to win then we have no choice but to do it." wangji also agreed by nodding his head. jingyi also agreed along with sizhui and his senior wei.

jiang cheng slowly got back his senses of his lower body and recovered from being temporarily paralyzed. he then stood up and gritted his teeth and said, "fine. if its the only way.."

xichen got quite flustered by what he said, but also agreed by nodding his head. he also said, "you guys surround them, when they get confused, we'll show up..doing the idea. making them and the whole crowd become a real life ice sculpture."

the whole team then agreed and went to do the plan. they charged at the Vermillion Blades and surrounded them. the other whole team got confused, but tried to attack them, failing since they all mounted their swords quickly, while wei ying mounted on bichen with lan wangji. just as they got even more confused, lan xichen flew towards them, holding jiang cheng by his waist.

he waited until they were the center attention and slowly grabbed jiang cheng's flustered face, staring his pink plump lips, and kissed him, his lips meeting jiang cheng, both melting into the kiss and never wanting it to last.

the whole crowd watch, even the elders, and teams. lan qiren saw this and coughed up blood and fainted. the Vermillion Blades also was staring at them, with the utmost confusion.

jin ling subconsciously whispered, "uncle..?"

when the two seperated from the kiss, both looked st each other, eyes wanting more from each other, but knew that this was just an idea, but they didn't want it to be. when they seperated their bodies to look at the Blades, they were still frozen, so the whole team took this chance, secured them, and helped their captains capture the flag.

jiang cheng and lan xichen was now at the middle of the quiet and confused stadium. as the flag was just right infront of them, both looked at each other with smiles on their faces and blushes across each's cheeks. they then both held the flag together, lan xichen's hand on top of jiang cheng's hands. (soon it wont just be the hands😏😏).

they both raised the flag together and the whole team burst into cheers, waking everyone up- including the almost dead lan qiren, from their confusioness.

the whole crowd also woke up, and saw the two captains raising the flag, so they raised their voices snd whistled, cheered, roared, and just yelled many happy things.

the whole Blades team was also still confused but mostly snapped out of it, also cheering them on.

AFTER THE ANNOUNCEMENT AND CONGRATULATIONS

lan xichen knocken on jiang cheng's room. each of the team members were given their own room to rest and sleep in for tommorow's challenge. basically, they had to sleep there for the whole week.

jiang cheng opened the door, "do you need something, sect leader lan?" he asked.

jiang cheng looked like he just took a shower based off his sexy look. his hair was wet, but it was down and wasn't dripping, looking like a flow of ink passing by his back. he was only wearing a shower robe that seemed quite larger than him, exposing his bare, built chest muscles. his chest was also quite wet, making the complete look of how sexy he looked.

lan xichen couldn't help but notice his chest and stuttered, "i- 1 have s-something to talk about with yo-you.."

"hm? ok" jiang cheng let xichen in, making him sit down at his bed and pouring both of them a cup of tea. he head to lan xichen and handed his teacup, sitting down next to him.

when he looked at xichen, he noticed that he was red from head to toe. he then asked, "are you ok? what did sect leader lan want to talk about?"

lan xichen flinched from the sudden question and answered...
