Jealousy

Few weeks later,we drew closer to each other we shared things, ideas, jokes and much more, things where going smoothly, he shared his feeling to me and i to him.

It was so obvious that the school had tagged us ' BEST COUPLE' and of course it made people jealous, and all the girls hated me for that.

The one I couldn't believe was when my best friend stopped talking to me and she didn't even approach me or any sort during that week

"Hi , how are you doing?, hope you're ok"  I said.

she gave me the silent treatment, I was so shocked to the extent I had to confront her.

"What's happening aren't you friends anymore what's up with this whole thing" I asked

"Won't you just leave me alone I need space , well why did  you have to just fall in love with the guy I love" she said angrily

I was rendered speechless after that sentence

"I didn't know, why didn't you tell me I would have left him for  you , you know I'll give anything for you you're my best friend for crying out loud", I said with tears filled in my eyes.

" Don't you remember how long, after all the pain ,Joy ,suffering ,put into this relationship as friends, can't you remember a grade 6 you I stood up for you and this is how you repay me by loving the guy I love , why will you do that to me",Ella said with so much anger.

"You need to calm down I can explain, it all started when you were in a school some weeks ago, I  went to talk to him because I realize that he is not improving his academics,  so I just decided to be a friendly person, so I walked up to him then he spoke to me in a  kind  way, I didn't realize you went to school ,so I said I'll call you when I get back from school but I didn't because I forgot ,so it's not my fault ,and you didn't tell me that he is the person you love you don't tell me, I would have backed out you're my friend and not only my friend you are my best friend please forgive me." I pleaded

"Ok, ok, enough of all this drama, I forgive you after all, it's natural feeling, so I don't blame you at all and I  blame myself because I didn't tell you about any of this, sorry for raising my voice at you" Ella Said with tears falling from her eyes.

" it is okay already don't cry anymore", I gave her a piece of handkerchief to wipe the tear off her face.

" ok is enough ,would you like to come over to have cookies and cream" , she asked.

" okay, that will be nice , what time should I be there?"  I said .

With the joyful expression on her face.

"ok  5:30 pm will do and don't forget the biology assignment  we have alright see you at home". She said happily.
