"Excuse me! Kim Jisoo in the way! Please let me go through! I have to see the results!" Jisoo shouted as she got sandwiched between the students.

The grades were out today and this was also the day where the school would tell the rankings for the semester.

Of course Jisoo has to know! She spent her weeks excelling her studies, even joining extracurricular activities if she needed to.

After trying to get out of the suffocating crowd of students, she tried to find her friend, Jennie. She's sure that she already knows the results before anyone else because Jennie's known as the main source of news in their school. She didn't became an announcer in their school for nothing.

Jisoo looked around her, trying to spot her friend amidst the commotion. Good thing that she found her quickly after getting a glimpse of a familiar hairclip.

"Jen! Quick, here! How did the rankings go?" Jisoo eagerly asked her friend, kind of scared of the result.

Jennie didn't answer immediately, scaring her and making her more nervous than usual.

"Jen..?" There was still no answer. "Did he win again?" She was fidgeting the sleeve of her friend's sleeve.

Suddenly, a smile broke out of her friend's face. "OMG, you got first this time, Chu! You won this time!"

Before Jisoo could even celebrate, a voice broke out behind.

"So, Jisoo, you won. Hm, nice." The low voice made her eyes roll and turn behind, just to see him.

The son of the devil, Kim Taehyung, with a poker face on. She didn't let the playful glint in his eyes pass. This jerk.

He's been her rival since the day she was born. Probably because their family companies were also rivals.

Besides that, she just hated his guts. He was always competing with her for no reason, even with the most nonsensical things.

"First one to erase fast is the winner!"

"What?"

At first, she didn't want to compete with him as she doesn't want any enemies. She was even treating him kindly. Eventually, he got her nerves. This led to her being competitive as well.

They fought in all sorts of competition there is available. They fought fiercely in different areas, excelling in subjects and other activities. Good thing, their school still supported the ranking system. That caused them to compete with each other more, eyeing the number one spot.

This semester, she won and she's going to brag it in his face for all she can. She has the bragging rights.

"Well, well. The loser is here. Now, I can truly enjoy my victory while seeing your loser face." She grinned as his face turns grim.

"Not for too long, Kim. Not for too long." He then arrogantly smirked as he ran his hand through his hair. "Enjoy your win while it last."

"Of course, I will." Jisoo returned the smirk. "I'm going to enjoy every single second of my victory."

He walked forward as she stood still, flustered with the sudden action. He proceeded to whisper in her ear. "But don't let it get into your head for too long, sweetheart. It might hurt your ego if you lose next time."

Taehyung left the scene with a model walk. She still doesn't know why he walks like that, maybe the model talks got to his head. His sister was a one, after all.

"I still don't know why you guys are fighting for the number one spot but that's some thick sexual tension in there," Jennie chimed in after he walked away.
