I jolted up. Who in the hell said that. I lived alone.
I walked around my house. It was 6:07am exactly. I lived in mystic falls which was know to be super safe. This was some next level voodoo shit.
"Hey"
I jumped. "What the fu- DAMON" Damon Salvatore. My lifelong best friend since we were born.
My bad. I forgot one minor detail. I'm dead. Well technically. I'm a vampire. Born in 1839. Been alive for....lots of years. I've lost count. As for my family they were mortals my sister actually got killed in 9th grade for being pregnant by my boyfriend. Tragic? No quite funny to me. My parents just died I guess I didn't really care. Now that you're caught up...
"What are you doing here I haven't seen you in like 50 years?!" He said
"Well Damon you know me I loved to travel so I moved into a nice house in the Bahamas for like 50 somethings years. But the neighbors caught on so I had to leave. And now here I am"
"Great to be back huh?"
We were walking back to his house because he didn't want me to live in a shack.
"Yeah, where is Stefan?"
"With Elena"
"Oh you told me about her. Doppelgänger to Katy Kat?" (Katherine)
"Yup"
Katherine. Long story short I was her best friend for years then she became crazy so I dropped her...into the ocean...She survived I think but I also don't care.
You see my problem is that I'm a ripper. I'm a sociopath. But in the nicest way possible. I don't like somebody, they do something. Pop. Head is on my wall. Simple.
"Have you heard from..him?" I asked.
"No he has been MIA for years give it a rest."
I couldn't.
Malachi Parker was my everything. He understood me. He was like me. Then he just disappeared without a trace. Asshole.
"What about his father? Have you talked to him yet?"
"Yes, he won't tell me anything so I think he took Kai or something."
I skipped a breath. Kai isn't going to be dead on my watch.
