Regret

Ming's POV

We all have some regret in our hearts which we need to live with our whole life.

I sighed and looked around the apartment of my imagination. I started this story in hope of giving it a happy ending but neither mine nor my character has a happy ending in their life.

I laid down in bed and stared at the ceiling.

Will, I ever get back to my reality, or was I going to end up here forever.

Many things were going in my mind at this time. My husband didn't trust me and the book which is playing with my own life.

I close my eyes and tried to relax but I can't in this state. My whole body is aching from pain.

"Want some help....?"

"In what?" I asked him.

"You need some rest, Ming...."

"It's doesn't matter to you Beam...! Go back to that world and don't come here again.."

I told him. He sighed and sat down across me on the bed.

"Why...?! Can't you give me second chance...?!"

Beam asked. I laughed and stared at his pretty face.

"When was the last I didn't give you a chance Beam...?! Huhhhh...."

He was taken back from my voice. I was holding my tears.

"I asked for time to give us chance before marriage but you were too desperate to marry early. I asked you to please go later to your business trip because I want to spend time with my husband but you choose that trip which was not that necessary. Even after coming back you didn't trust me and accuse me of cheating you. You are asking me why I am not giving you a second chance... SERIOUSLY....!!"

I coughed hard. Beam comes to me and rubs my back. He looked at me I had tears in my eyes.

"I am sorry..... I was so wrong Ming..."

Beam said and cupped my face. He stares at those dark orbs. I tried to pull away from his hands from my face but the sincerity in Beam's eyes made me weak.

"I'll be the Beam you wrote for the Ming in this book. I'll not disappoint you this time love.."

I was having a conflict in my mind. Should I give Beam a chance?

"I don't trust you...!"

I said without looking at Beam's eyes. Beam sighed and nodded his head.

"Then, I'll try to gain your trust first..."

Beam said. I blinked and looked at Beam who had a gentle smile on his face.

"Um...."

Beam disappeared in front of my eyes. I looked around and sighed. Will Beam win my trust?

I was shocked when he appeared all of sudden with a wide smile on his face.

"Doctor told me that your health is getting better. I can't wait for you to wake up Ming.." Beam said.

Am I getting better in our world?!

"That's good.." I said back but he didn't take his eyes from me.

"What..?!"

"I want you to take one place."

"Where?"

He just leaned closer to me and pecked my forehead. I blush from his sudden closeness.

"You'll know soon.. Love.."
