Prolouge

"Gege gege, look the Sun is already up! will you play with me?", the little wolf pup cheerfully asked her still sleepy brother.

"Not now. Your little brother is still fast asleep." The older wolf motioned his head towards the little one still sound asleep snuggled under the fur of his older brother's front limbs and chest.

Hearing those words the little wolf pup pouted not really happy that she won't get to play with her brother. She laid down curling up her body in a comfortable position.

"Why don't you go play with Xuxi? He will be back in sometime after finishing his patrol with your father." The other wolf suggested taking the little pup in her arms and started grooming the her. "And till he comes back let me give you a nice bath. Your fur always looks so dirty because of its bright white colour."

"But he will be tired and he has other duties to do. Why is Hendery ge always lying here in the den? It's so boring and dark in here.", the pup complained, trying to get out of her sister in laws hold as she didn't enjoy being groomed all the time.

"Do you think I enjoy being in the den the whole time? I am here because I have to take care of you and brother. I would rather go out with Kihal away from you two little troublemakers", Hendery growled towards his little sister who was too busy jumping around his mate's body to listen to him.

"Aww, come on, it's not that bad taking care of these cute little pups!" Kihal cooed as she was trying to grab the pup jumping on her. "And besides I would like to have my own pups too! What do you think?"

"No way I am having any pups anytime sooner. They are pain in the ass.", Hendery said clearly annoyed by his mate's wish. Hendery laid his head on his mate's fur closing his eyes. "I am tired just lying down here and looking after them." Kihal rubbed her head against his calming him down. She was just happy being around him.

"Well, your sister is right. Your are always stuck here. You need break. Why don't you come to my pack's forest with these two pups. They are old enough to come along right? I will be leaving tomorrow afternoon, so what do you think?"

"That's a good idea but you will be the one looking after them, especially Rifen she gets too excited and will start running everywhere."

"Of course I will! As long as you promise to come along and get out of this den I will do anything." Kihal reassured him.

"Love, you are the best." Hendery said as he emitted his happy scent hearing those words.

Both the older wolves ears perked up as they sensed the presence of other wolves returning back along with Alpha and his eldest son.

"They are back! Gege is back! I will be going out now, bye." Rifen exclaimed excitedly and dashed out of the den.

"Be careful!" Hendery shouted seeing his sister trip down and get up as she giggled and left.

Her little brother was finally awake because of his sibling's loud voices. "Ugh! why is she always so loud?" The little pup whined as he put his paws over his tiny ears and closed his eyes again.

"Hey, don't go to sleep again that you are finally awake!" Kihal nudged the little pup who was starting to doze off again.

Rifen who was finally out shifted to her human form and jumped up and down greeting the wolves as she made her way towards her brother who was still busy talking with her father.

"Gege play with me" Rifen extended her small arms as her brother picked her up.

"Hey! Is my baby sister already up and ready to play?" The older wolf cheered. "You are really good at shapeshifting aren't you?" He praised her and she smiled waving her hand up.
