Ushijima

Your the manager for Karasuno. And today was important.

You had set up a practice match with Shiritorazawa, wasn't anything big, you guys where just practice if together basically.

But the boys where nervous, even if they have played them before, and even won.

But you had a plan. There's something that nobody knows about you surprisingly. You used to play Volleyball, and when I say you where the best, you. Where. The. Best. So you came up with a little plan, you used to be a middle blocker, until you got badly injured witch is why you stopped playing. So you got Tsuki in on the plan, you just wanted to see if you still had it in you.

You guys made in to Shiritorazawa. When you walked in the gym you saw the other team already warming up. The boys quickly set there stuff down and also began to warm up. And you walked over to Ukai, he's actually the only one that knows that your good af at Volleyball, because well your his younger cousin. But what he didn't know was that you where gonna actually try to play again today for the first time in 3 years.

The boys started there practice match and your plan was going perfect so far.

It was now the 2 set. You and Tsuki made eye contact and you shook your head up and down to indicate it's time.

Ushijima spiked the ball and Tsuki went to go block, and got "hurt". He was fine though, it was all part of your plan.

"Shit who's gonna fill in." Ukai said and you looked around.

"Can I?" You asked him and his eyes widened honestly shocked.

"Your serious. You can if you have your stuff." He said plainly.

"Well good thing I always have my stuff" you said giggling.

You took off your sweatpants and sweatshirt to reveal your spandex and your practice shirt.  You put on your knee pads then shoes then quickly made your way on court everyone watching really confused.

"Are you playing with us Y/n-Chan?!?!??" Tanaka asked very excitedly.

"Yes yes I am." You gave him to thumbs up then got in position.

"Do you even know how to play Volleyball." Kageyama asked from right next to you.

"Hmmm I guess you will just have to find out now won't you Kageyama." You said back to him.

It's now 3rd set and you haven't really gotten any action yet.

"Hey Kageyama next set you get, go to me got it." You said looking at him, and he just shook his head giving you a little yes.

And just like you asked he set one up for you.

You quickly ran up and got ready to hit it. Blockers following after you. But you didn't let them stop you. You hit it so hard that it went right through there hands and onto the ground earning you guys a point. When you landed it was quite for a second before your team started screaming and running up to you huddling around you.

"OMG Y/N THAT WAS SO COOL TEACH ME TEACH ME HOW YOU DID THAT." Hinata said jumping on you.

"Nice going kid good to see you still have your skill!" Your cousin yelled over everyone.

You looked over the crowd around you and smiled at him.

Then everyone went back to there positions and you turned around and made eye contact with very intimidating eyes that where staring right at you. But you wouldn't break, you gave that stare right back to him giving him a little cocky smirk to add some fun.

And oh boy did that make Ushijima Wakatoshi number one ace and strongest player on Shiritorazawa, very interested in you now. He wanted to see just how good your are, he wanted to test you.

You guys both have been making eye contact for an unsettling amount of time for the other players, it was making them nervous.

Ushijima Pov:
"Ahhhh someone's interested in the manager I see." Tendou said from behind me.

"I've never seen you like this before Wakatoshi." Tendou said continuing on.

"Hm" is all I said to him, while still making eye contact with that Y/n person.

Y/n pov:
Damn that guy is lowkey kinda hot. And not to mention he's like good af at Volleyball. And tall, like I swear volleyball guys are some of the only ones taller then me.
(An: I'm like 5'10 so sorry if you not tall, because you tall in this one)

I smirked at him one last time before turning away.
It's my turn to serve, gonna show Shriritorizawa that there lucky I'm only the manager.

You backed up from the line, getting ready to see if you can still do a jump serve. You threw the ball up into the air and began to run. You took three steps, jumped up into the air, and slammed the ball right in the air, aiming right at non other then Ushijima all well making eye contact with him the entire time. Ushijima tried to receive your serve, key word tried. He was able to touch it but it went flying off his arms.

Once again everyone was completely shocked.

All well Ushijima was getting even more interested in you by every passing minute.

It was his turn to test you now.

He was serving. He did a normal serve, but for him normal serves are like good af and very hard to receive. He was aiming for you, and to his surprise your received it without braking a sweat, perfectly over to Kageyama.

Let's just say everyone is just shocked at everything you do.

You guys got the point and now your back in front row. Now it's time for the block.

Its game point for you guys, if you get this one you win.

Asahi served the ball over to the other team, it got received by Yamagata over to Shiribu who was ready to set it up for Ushijima.

You ran over to the side where Ushijima was about to hit it, and at the perfect timing, you jumped up and blocked him, sending the ball back down onto his side, they couldn't save it, and you won game point.

"YEA Y/N GOOD JOB!" Everyone on your team yelled once again surrounding you cheering and just like yelling in your face.

"Yea yea thanks for letting me play guys!" You said to them as you walked away going to get some water.
Then you realized you never grabbed one so you walked out the gym to go the the water fountain.

While you where walking out Ushijima saw you walking away so he decided to follow you because he wanted to talk.

As you where about to bend down and take a sip of water a water bottle was put right in front of your face, you grabbed it then looked up to see that it was Ushijima.

"Thanks!" You said with the biggest closed eyes smile, that made his heart lowkey melt.

You opened the water bottle chugging the entire thing, you where really thirsty.

"You are really good at Volleyball L/n" he said with the same bored look on his face, with like no emotion.

"Ahhh thanks Ushijima, and you can call me Y/n I don't mind." You said as you began to walk back to the gym him following right next to you.

"Sooooooo, are you free anytime next weekend." You said looking over and up to him.

"Are you asking me on a date." He said plainly.

"Yes, yes I am. So are you free?" You asked again, cheeks now a little pink.

"I am free at 7 o'clock on Saturday." He said looking down at you.

Oh my god this man is so polite.

"Got it, I'll pick you up then." You said giving him a big smile as you ran back over to your team.

He didn't notice but he was also smiling, he walked back over to his team, still smiling, and his team was beyond shocked. Tendou screamed

"OH MY GOD ARE YOU SMILING." He said loudly hiding behind one of the others. Ushijimas smile quickly dropped.

"I don't know what your talking about." He said as he looked over in your direction, just to find you gone.
