I missed you

"Lucy?" A small smile came from Lucy's face
"You played well" Lucy said while walking over to stand right in front of me. I couldn't hold it back anymore, i fell into her arms Lucy held tight around my body, I haven't seen her in almost a year. "Lucy wha-what are you doing here?!?!?" My Lyon contract ran out and I haven't found a club yet, I was thinking about moving back til manchester, and i missed you so I thought I've check out some familiar faces"
I just stared into her beautiful bronze eyes
"That's, that's great" I could see Lucy wasn't convinced, I was happy but she just kinda left me back then. "Aren't you happy?" Lucy questioned "I am don't get me wrong I'm just surprised, because I haven't seen you in a long time" "Wanna get coffee and catch up?"
I couldn't say no til Lucy i had a weak spot for her "Yeah sure let's do it".
We walked through the tunnel, not really knowing if i should say something, or take her hand i didn't know what to do, Lucy was special was special to me but she hasn't called in weeks. We finally made it to my car after a long walk of silence "Keira would you mind me coming back to Manchester?" "No why would i"
I said confused "You didn't seem all happy about it earlier" lucy started to tear up
"Oh Lucy no I'm happy i was just surprised" I felt guilty for reacting the way i did. Lucy couldn't help but smile about my response.
I drove the car and even thought your supposed to focus on the road, my head was somewhere else, (Why is Lucy back?, did she still see me as her best friend, Is this a trap).
When we made it to the coffee shop, Lucy ran all the way from her side of the car to mine, just so she could open the door for me.
I smiled and Lucy smiled back, but this time it felt different, her smile made my stomach turn it made me feel happy in another way then before she left, I didn't think much of it, I thought it was about her coming back.
