There was a knock at the door
Perky awoke and went to go answer it
"Hell- oh good morning" they said when they saw the old woman
"Good Morning! I just wanted to stop by and visit!" she smiled, perky nodded and allowed her in
They spoke for a while, talking about little things, like weather and news
"What is that from?" she asked seeing a red and black striped blanket hanging on the wall "oh, it belonged to my spouse" they smiled
"They gifted it to you?" She asked, "no no, uhm, when they passed I retrieved it from the side of a clif where they had dropped it."
The woman sat silent, she laughed a little "off the side of a cliff?" She asked grinning, perky smiled "haha yeah the wind blew it off, see I had told tubbo that day it was too windy, but since we had been holding off the picnic for so long he wasn't having it" they laughed slightly to themselves
The rest of the day they simply talked, perky spoke about Natsue and tubbo while the woman spoke of her husband, all the while simply happy.
"Oh and he decided it would be a great idea to- oh, it's getting dark isn't it?" The woman turned to the window as she spoke "oh, I guess your right, wow I didn't even notice" perky spoke
"Hehe yes, we'll I'll be on my way then," she stood and made her way to the door "wait one more thing-!" Perky stopped her, she turned "tell your husband I say hello, and sorry for any past miscommunications" they smiled
The woman smiled back "I'll be sure to, bye now!" She said from the porch, "bye!" The tall fellow said ducked under the door, once she had been far enough, they closed the door and stepped in
They looked to the painting, then blanket, pondering what to do next, they could read those books they found, but then would start the loop of endless searching, they could simply forget about them, no that wasn't really an option
They decided to take a break, a week, a week of no searching, and just relaxing, though they were so close, at this rate they would go insane, so it would be better just to rest for now
