She never used to be wild nor protective and defensive. Both Emma's parents loved Bella as well just as much as Emma but one day her parents were fighting and got divorced and only Emma's mom was taking care of her and one whole year later a new father came in a horrible one. His name was Justin and he was a horse abuser and he beated up Bella for nothing at all and Emma told her mom but she was deadly sick and couldn't understand her and Emma rode Bella out far away and set her free so she wouldn't be abused like that ever again.
