Before Joshua could understand what was going on he felt himself being carried. He opened his eyes to find out that Vernon was giving him a piggyback ride, both of their backpacks in his hands.
"Shua? Are you awake?" Vernon's voice was filled with concern, shaking slightly.
"Mhm, I'm awake. Why are you carrying me?" Joshua was confused, the last thing he remembers was reading music in the coffee shop.
"You don't remember? Shua, you fainted onto the table." Vernon stopped dead in tracks and set Joshua down carefully, holding onto his shoulders gently. "Josh, tell me what's wrong, I'm seriously worried" Vernon's voice was shaking and it broke Joshua's heart.
"I don't know Vernon, I say I'm fine but I know I'm not-" Joshua's lips sealed when his eyes fixated on the rotten petal Vernon held in his hands. Where did he get that? It couldn't have been when they were at the university, Vernon trailed behind him the whole time.
"W-where did you get that?" Joshua was scared, Why did Vernon have the petal? Why wasn't saying anything?
The moment begins to blur for Josh, his eyes growing heavy and his head beginning to spin. He stumbled back, he needed to get away from Vernon. He began to run, he didn't know where he was going but he did know it was far away from his crush.
After what felt like forever he stopped running, looking at his surroundings only to realize he was at the Han river. He crouched down, trying to catch his breath when a man came up to him.
"Hey there, you okay?" the man was tall, his shoulders broad and his hair tied up messily.
"Huh? oh yeah, I'm okay." Joshua was uncomfortable, why was this strange man here? Sure the Han river was known for drunks but to Shua's knowledge, this man was sober.
The man sat next to him, leaning little space between their thighs.
"I'm Jeonghan, Yoon Jeonghan." The man sat next to him, leaning little space between their thighs.
"I'm Jeonghan, Yoon Jeonghan."
