The vehicle came to a halt after I woke up, and the people half carried, half dragged me into a building of questionable cleanliness. My sneakers stepped on bits of rubble and rocks, and the air around me felt cold. The people carrying me had limp yet strong arms, and they were silent the entire way.
I was dropped to my knees as the bag was pulled off of my head. The light rushed onto my eyes, blinding me for a second or two. My breathing was no longer constricted, and my body felt more comfortable, aside from being tied up. The people carrying me walked off into the previous room, and I soon realized the only light was emanating slowly from candles that surrounded me. The only slab of polished granite in the building rested beneath my knees, and I noticed that it had a colorful design of swirls and flowers on it. It was the only lively thing that i've noticed in this dark room.
"Hello, Randy" a mysterious voice said deeply, filling the room with his sound
"Hi....Where am I?" I replied, staying calm so I didn't provoke whoever it was
"You are in a building, far from the city" the voice replied
"Far from the city...are we in the outskirts?" I said, my voice filled with curiosity
"Yes. But you have a job to do, Randy. We need you, and we need your abilities"
"Abilities? I'm nothing special. I'm just a homeless freerunner"
"Ah, but you see child, you contain something else. You contain rebellion"
"Rebellion?" I asked, slowly standing, "really?"
"You wish to overthrow the government and restore the peace. We are going to give you the chance to do so"
"How?" I replied
"By allowing you to join the rebellion, and give you the tools you need to win your struggle"
He summoned his goons to untie me, and called me forward to a pedestal. I walked slowly, thinking that all of this was a joke, and I was actually just arrested. I soon discovered that I was wrong.
