Chapter 9

On the beach.

We all arrive, we all rise with the bracelets Phastos for us. We all stood far apart trying to cover more ground. Druig comes over to me on the south side of the beach the part I guarded.

I turn to face him as he walks over.

"Oh hey." I say as he walks closer to me.

He smirks kissing me.

"Don't die okay." He says putting our noses together.

"Of course." I responded as he glides his finger on the bridge of my nose.

"I have to go back to my spot." He says sad, he didn't want to leave her there.

"Awe okay.. I mean yeha we need to space out." I say rephrasing my sentence.

"Was that you pouting?" He says mockingly.

"What no..... uhhh I don't know what you mean."
I say awkwardly.

He leans in his mouth next to my ear.

"Your still nervous to be this close to me aren't you?" He says in a whisper.

I gulp.

"of course I am... your kind of easy to be excited around." I say not trying to hind it.

He puts his lips on my month than waves as he walks back the spot he guards.

I smile to myself.

I think to myself.

All of a sudden hot fire rocks are hurtling towards myself and the others we all deflect them, than we turn the uni-mind and connect we all rise in all as a golden string tries us in the air and connects us as one.

Ikaris out of nowhere shots Druig with his eyes than pucks him up in the air throwing him down shooting down.

Killing him.

My heart drops, I scream with all my might.
He's gone isn't he.

I grab Ikaris in the air with the power coming from my hand and with some Swift movements he's drawn to the ground, I ran up to him pulling him in the air than back down. Phastos grabs him with a rearrangement of the material from the bracelets making them into a sort of rope tying him down to the ground.

Phastos tells sersi to go and stop the celestial as he started to rise from the earth his hand holding the island.

Me and Phastos keep holding Ikaris down.

Than the celestial stops, he freezes in place Ikaris breaks out.

"It's over Ikaris." Phastos says as Ikaris flys over to sersi.

He stand on the beach as sersi returns without Ikaris and we see sprite walking over and. And Druig.

I walk/run over to him connecting our foreheads together.

"I'm okay, I'm okay misha." He says in a whisper.

"Good." I say also say whisper.

//the next day//

"So where are you guys going now?" Phastos asks me, Druig and Thena

"Well we're going to try to find the other eternals." Thena says.

"I wish you three good luck." Kingo says as we all stand in a field in front of the Domo. Without Ikaris.

I was finally happy, Erin called that day saying his boyfriend and him can cat sit for a bit longer.
Sad I wouldn't be able to see my cat for a bit but I had Druig until than.
