Y/N and Delta laughed wholeheartedly (and very VERY loudly) at a joke Gamma made just as Alpha and Zeta came back. Y/N's eyes brightened upon seeing Alpha, running up to him and hugging him tightly.

Unbeknownst to the oblivious Y/N, Alpha was wounded, and in response, he shoved her away, maybe a little too roughly. Alpha clutched his wound and glared at her, before walking to his room and slamming the door behind him.

Y/N looked a little hurt, turning to Zeta for some sort of information, instead getting the cold shoulder as well. "What's wrong with them?" She looked at Delta, then at Gamma, who shrugged. "I'll go check up on Alpha."

"Y/N I think it's best if we-" Before Delta could finish her sentence, Y/N entered Alpha's room.

Alpha's room was tidy and looked very neat; nothing misplaced, even the books looked like they've just been bought. Y/N saw Alpha sitting on his bed, facing away from the door. An idea (that could also be called a death wish) popped in her head, and she slowly crept up on Alpha, her hands ready to jab in his sides. When she did, Alpha jolted, hissing when the ointment he was spreading across his cut went a little too far.

He turned around to see Y/N laughing so hard it looked like she was ready to cry. "Y/N!"

Y/N locked eyes with him and continued laughing, not reading the room. "HAHAHA! Ohhh, that jump was amazing!"

Alpha took a breath to steady himself, trying his best not to lose his patience. "Can you get out please." It was an order, not a request.

The girl stopped laughing, sitting down beside him. For some weird reason her eyes weren't working and she couldn't see the first aid kit on his bed or the wound on his side. She stared up at him, still smiling. "You're too easy to frighten, Alpha."

"Get out, Y/N." He repeated.

Y/N ignored him, giggling. "You want me to do it again sometime?"

"Y/N." Alpha's patience was slipping away (like Diluc's dad [I'm not sorry]).

"I was thinking of pulling a prank on Beta since he's as gullible as you, what do you think?" She took a thick and heavy book and threw it in the air. Gravity being the bitch it is caused the book to drop directly on Alpha's head (this should've broken his neck).

That was the last straw.

Alpha stood up, grabbing the book. "Y/N! Can you just get out?!"

Y/N stared at him in shock. "I-I'm sorry-"

Alpha put the book back where it came from, his gaze cold. "Is pissing me off entertaining to you?!"

"I didn't mean to-"

"Oh you don't? Because it LOOKS like you do!" Alpha pushed her to the door, opening it and shoving her out. "Do me a favor, Y/N. Leave me alone. You're a bother."

The door slammed behind her. Delta and Gamma seemed to also be in their rooms now, which Y/N was thankful for. Her eyes began to water. She didn't know if Alpha meant it or not, but it still hurts to be called bothersome by someone you love. Tears began rolling down her cheeks as she ran to her room, the words echoing in her head over and over.

"You're a bother."
