The jewels of two

"Some say the night and day are controlled by the sun and moon.That they rise and set themselves.However legend has it that there were guardians that controlled the dark and light.Unfortunately they left this world in a fight against mighty demons.But before they left they concealed their power in two separate jewels which will activate only if the chosen two come near it.So I-" RING!the clang filled the entire class room."Aww I guess it's time for everyone to go home.Im sorry class I have to end it there have a great weekend"The whole class stood,grabbed their bags from their desks and waved goodbye to the teacher however one student remained.A girl with night black hair stared out the window by her desk."Hey sis come on school has ended already!"
"Jeesh why are you so exited Dawn?" "Is it a party tonight or something, or are you just being silly again."
"Shishki your so shady,come on I just wanna get home." "Come on hurry!"Excitedly Dawn grabbed Shishki's hand and dragged her out the door.

"ugh hey Dawn I can walk by self!"Imminently Dawn let go and fell silent"huh why did you stop?"Suddenly Shishki saw the dark orange sky and the bright fluffy clouds forming a pattern in the sky."Isn't it pretty!"Dawn squealed.
"Yeah I guess so."Shishki replied."anyway we should get home it's getting late."Dawn smirked then nodded
"ya we should get home."Soon they came to their small cozy home on a quiet,small road near a dense,overgrown forest.
"Ahh home sweet sweet home hey sis!"Dawn stretched out on a warm leather couch close to the wooden door,"ya." Shishki nodded and thudded onto the arm of the couch."Hey sis?"Dawn turned her head to face Shishki.
"What is it?"Shishki looked confused and opened her eyes within a snap.Dawn looked at her lap and held her arms straight on her legs,"doesn't it ever bother you how people always give you a cold dark stare whenever you walk past them?"Dawn looked back at Shishki,"i mean you haven't done anything to them have you."Shishki smiled showing a canine sharp like a wolfs fang."Don't let it bother you."Shishki gave out a quick sigh and then ruffled Dawns hair.With that she headed off to the kitchen."Come on you wanna go hungry?"Dawn quickly stepped up and followed after.Soon after the sweet smell of freshly made rice balls wafted through the air,"Mmm these smell amazing sis!"Shishki gave a small smile and nodded in agreement.

Moon high came quick.Shishki and dawn made a big yawn and headed upstairs.Shishki stepped into the warm shower while dawn changed into her cat onesie.Soon the Eco of the water was silenced and the hallway grew quiet.Shishki slipped into a towel and left for room to get changed into her comfortable Wolf onesie."it's getting late sis we should get some rest."Dawn protested.Shishki agreed and switched off the light by her bed.Morning came,The birds from the forest outside filled the room with their loud chirp.Shishki opened one eye and deflected the bright sun with her arm,moaning as she opened the other.She looked over at Dawn,"oh ya its the weekend she'll be asleep for a while longer."With that Shishki headed down stairs and made breakfast.Some time later the amazing smell of cooked beacon filled the house making Dawn jump out of bed and rush downstairs."Mmm smells great sis I love the smell of cooked beacon in the morning."Dawn tasted the air with a deep sniff.
Shishki just ignored her and focused on the food.Later the sizzle of the pan silenced,"here you go dawn breakfast is served!"
Shishki placed a warm plate in front of Dawn."THIS LOOKS AMAZING!"Dawn licked her lips,"Is this that 'English Breakfast'
You said you would make me someday?"Shishki sat opposite to dawn on the other head of the table and nodded as she sat,
"Indeed it is,"Shishki bit off the head of a sausage and added,"Complete with two slices of beacon,one portion of mashed potatoes and three sausages."However Dawn was already eating her meal,probably though the whole thing.Shishki gave a sigh and tucked in too.Dawn rapidly finished her meal and switched on the news to see what's new."Hey sis look at this."Shishki carried on eating pretending to not listen,But she actually was."Hey sis.....THATS THE FOREST OUTSIDE!"Shishki immediately stopped eating her ears ringing loudly."you don't think I noticed that,"Shishki was so mad she snapped her chopsticks in two and repeated,"YOU DONT THINK I NOTICED!!!!!!"Shishki Screeched,"I was up all night because of the racket!"Dawn had a derpy look on her face like she was clueless,"ok sis gezz so you didn't get a lot of sleep big whup."Shishki put down her broken chopsticks and dragged dawn out of the house and into the forest."Hey um sis why are so many people here!"All of a sudden all the news reporters spotted the two sisters and stopped silent before,"HEY ARE YOU TWO CUTIES THE OWNERS OF THIS SHRINE!!"Shishki dropped Dawn from her grip and then tightened her fist.She stated to murmur quietly,"I'm sorry what?" Shishki tightening her fist even more before shouting,"GET OFF OF MY PROPERTY!!!!!!!!"The screech made everyone's ears ring and one by one the reporters scurried out as fast as possible."Hey sis while we are here let's take a look inside!"Shishki stopped panting with fury and answered Dawn,"I guess while we're here we could take a quick peek."Dawn hid behind Shishki as She opened the musty,old door that creaked as it slowly started to open.Two jewels led on dusty,torn pillows lit up like the sun as the two sisters grew closer to them."What are they doing sis?"Dawn said trembling with excitement and terror.
"The jewels of two,glow like new,when the chosen ones appear."Shishki muttered the line under her curious tone.Dawn tilted her head,"Hey what you say sis?"Shishki snapped out of her trans at the voice of her sister.
"Huh,o-oh it's nothing sis just having a little day dream!"Shishki rubbed the back of her head like it wasn't a big deal.
"Oh come on we should get back we have some shopping to do and you look like you just woke up from a nightmare."Dawn joked.Shishki looked at herself and stroked her hair to find it was knotted and knitted with leaves and twigs as for her clothes that were torn here and there and were covered in dirt.Shishki flushed as she saw the state she was in and attempted to tidy herself up a bit,"ya your right we should hurry up and start the day."she giggled.And with that that trotted back to the house and tidied themselves up.
