I betrayed you but, I still love you(Baji X Chifuyu)

Chapter13

An annoying sound woke Chifuyu up. He attempted to turn off the alarm clock but ended up smashing it.
Then, Chifuyu realized what a big day it was.
The battle....
Baji...

Chifuyu's eyes widened and he slipped on his uniform and ran out of his apartment, onto his bike and to Takemichi's house.

"Takemichi! I'm here." Chifuyu panted.
"Chifuyu... C-come in." Takemichi greeted.
Chifuyu took a seat. "What's the plan?"
"Keep a close eye on Kazutora-kun. He'll stab Baji from the back.And make sure Baji has no weapon on him."

"How do I do that?"

"You and Baji-kun are close, aren't you?"

"Hai..."

"Then make an excuse to get close to him. Kiss him or... Whatever." he added, noticing the crimson blush on Chifuyu's face.

"Takemichi. Pray. I don't care if Valhalla wins or Toman does, I just want all of us safe." Chifuyu said.

Takemichi nodded. "I will."

"Attack." Mikey ordered. Even in the spacious place, his quiet  voice was as clear as a bell. "We have a condition too."

"What is that?" Hanma demanded.

"If we win, we take Baji back. If we lose... We lose." Chifuyu said.
He was sweating like crazy seeing Baji in Valhalla. He couldn't believe his eyes. He was trembling and worried sick!

Kazutora shrugged. "Fair enough. You're not gonna win anyway."
"MOVE YOU ASSES! BEAT THEM TO PULP!" Hanma suddenly yelled and men of Valhalla charged forwards.

Chifuyu noticed that Baji went straight behind the pile of cars, on top of which Mikey was fighting Kisaki.
Takemichi signaled Chifuyu to follow Baji.
Chifuyu picked up a broken bike handle and ran after Baji.

Baji was staring at Kisaki , like a cat staring at its prey.
Never moving, just his gaze.

Kisaki brought down the metal rod on Mike's head for the second time and Baji lunged forwards, growling and snarling like a tiger.
But, before he could climb, Takemichi stopped him, "Baji-kun, stop!" he yelled.

Baji turned around and his face twisted into a frown. "Get lost, Takemitchy."

"B-baji-kun...please." Takemichi pleaded. "Don't go."

Chifuyu caught a whisk of black and blonde hair behind Baji and Chifuyu ran to Baji's back.
Just in time because Kazutora had jumped at Baji with a dagger in his hands.
But instead of stabbing Baji...
"B-Baji-San..." Chifuyu whispered weakly.

"CHIFUYU!" Baji yelled. "Ch-Chifuyu? Are you hurt? Did it-Kazutora...." he said in a dangerous voice. "You dare... You dare touch Matsuno Chifuyu?!"

Kazutora's eyes widened as Baji snatched the dagger from his hands. "Do you think we're gonna die by your hands? Really, Kazutora? Well, we're not."

Baji raised the dagger but before he could dig it into his stomach, Takemichi jumped forward and grabbed it. "No, Baji-kun." he said firmly. "You are not harming anyone."

Baji scoffed and took Chifuyu into his arms as Mikey jumped down fron the pile of cars.
He punched Kazutora once. And again.

"Fuyu?" Baji murmured softly.

"Baji-san...I'm OK." Chifuyu whispered.

"No." Baji said picking Chifuyu up. "I'm taking you to the hospital."

With that, Baji ran from the battle field, Chifuyu in his arms.

Before you all start worrying, Chifuyu is gonna be fine.
