Chapter Eleven

i now know why i must continue my journey.

Alec's point of view

i walked down the path with logan and nathaniel. i can't believe what just happened i know i just met her but we had so much i common though she yet to know. i felt like i was one with her. this has already been so hard for me. i just can't believe it but ill have to continue this for people like her and i.

for people that need strength, hope and trust. we walk down to a tree with an apple on it but you see the apple is purple." this is where we will catch the next portal. but we have to wait until morning i suppose we catch some sleep for now. while its safe." nathaniel spoke . i turned and walked down to a river i saw just along the banks.

i sat and looked for about ten minutes when i started to strip and wash.i looked down and grabbed the gem around my neck and let the tears flow.when i was done i walked up the place we decided on sleeping at for the night. i saw logan and nathaniel whispering i rolled my eyes and scoffed.

when they realized i was there they stopped." so i don't suppose i've properly introduced myself my name is nathaniel but you can call me nathan." i looked at him he had his hand extended for me to shake i looked at it and went back to staring at the ground. it was quiet for a good thirty seconds when a guy came through the woods and sat next to "nathan." " it took me forever but i finally got here that zombie apocalypse thing was so disturbing.

he looked at me and smiled " well hi there what's your name?" " alec" he nodded " well hi there alec my name is Eli and i'm nathan's brother." at that moment nathan suggested that we get the sleeping arrangements done. oppositely id be sleeping with Eli. While logan and nathan would be whispering all night long together. no big surprise there.

after about ten minutes of continuous stares from eli i decided to hit the sack and take a nap. i had already taken a wash in the river so i was good. and Eli brought some pillows and blankets to sleep on along with food. i crawled under the blanket and drifted off. i dreamed of the girl. i saw how she once lived happy until that day. i saw her running from the park that she was once so happily enjoying.

she was running from someone she ran into an alley and turned around that's when i heard a man's voice say you're all mine now. just as i was about to see the figure's face a noise woke me from my slumber. there was faint fulfilling and the tent zipped shut. i wanted to ignore it when i felt a figure wrap their arms around me and lay their head in the nook of my neck.

" you weren't asleep were you?", thank god it was only eli and not some crazed psychotic rapist serial killer type person that liked to torture you before they finished you off." i was." "did i disturb you?"," ye- not really, um what are you doing?" i could feel his hand rubbing my stomach." nothing" he said. i moved away as he lifted his head off me.

i looked at him and he looked at me and i looked at him. i know how in movies they say 'oh i felt fireworks fire, it was amazing.' but to be honest it was so fucking weird. that's when he touched my knee and moved in to kiss me. all i saw was fire bring everything down. i closed my eyes and fell into the kiss nearly crushing him. we kissed in a heated passion as things escalated i got really hot.

suddenly i was dizzy and i wanted more of him. though i didn't think i could take anymore. the flames rose high and all i saw was fire burning the trees and burning the breeze in my heart. i lifted up and looked at him. he met my eyes and we started to embrace rolling around hugging and kissing. i broke out in a sweat. i let go of him and got up and walked away i looked over pass the river and to a mountain..

i smelt smoke when we were in the tent. but never in a million years would i have thought everything would have caught on fire at a moment like this.i closed my eyes and heard logan scream for us all to get out and to grab everything before it caught on fire.. all i could think was if i had did it. could i have? i closed my eyes and fell to the ground suddenly feeling weak.
