Chapter 7: Partners

Y/n's P.O.V.

We finally made it to out class and sat on our assigned seats as we all waited for the teacher to arrive.

The teacher finally arrived and began the lesson. "Ok so for your assignment, I'll be pairing all of you for a research and I will give you a topic to work with" the teacher said and we didn't decide to complain about it since. Burh were at collage we can't do shit like what we do on high school. Like come on who would be dumb enough to drop out of collage unless they don't have enough money or have to transfer in other country. "Ok that mostly it thank you for your time class" the teacher suddenly said 'fuck' I said and I panicked and look around to see whoever will approach me after a minute long of sitting I started to panic more.

No one is freaking approching me.

Taehyun's P.O.V.

"Y/n and Taehyun, your topic is about HYBE" the teacher said that shocked me. I mean I know everything about HYBE since my parents own it.

Yes our headmaster is my dad. Not flexing tho.

But anyways, I looked at Y/n but she didn't say anything to it and just stared at her desk.

After the teacher bid her goodbye all the students went to their partners and I waited for her to approach me but a minute has passed and she hasn't stood up and her eyes were looking everywhere 'did she not get what the teacher said?' I said to myself and I laughed at her panicked face I stood up to my seat and went to her and sat next to her.

Y/n's P.O.V.

I saw Taehyun stand up to his seat and walked towards me and sat to the chair next to me. Heck how am I suppose to tell Jaeyun about this. "Did you get what the teacher told us?" He asked "u-uh... yes..?" I stuttered "really what's our topic?" He said and I stayed quiet "your not pay attention are you" He said and and shake my head no and he sigh "no wonder you got detention" he said clicking his tongue while shaking his head as i sat there embarrassed.

-three boring class later-

Ok schools over. For them. I suddenly got a text it was from Jeayun

reasons.

"Ok...thats weird" I said and entered the doors of hell. Uh...detention I mean. I opened the door to see the teacher is already there and some student so I just sat in the corner. I grabbed a paper and a pen from my bag and started doodling whatever I thought off.

-1 hour later-

Detention was finally done so I placed my things back to my bag, picked it up and went out of the room along with some of the student and went to the main gate then walked my way to our house.

I finally reached our house and opened the door "took you long enough" I heard Jaeyun said from the living room. I place my things beside the stair case and sat with him at the sofa and scrolled down to my phone. After some minutes Jaeyun excused himself to cook dinner so I grabbed the remote and looked through channels until I find something to watch.

-a few moments later-

"Sis! Dinner's ready!" Jaeyun shouted from the kitchen and I turned off the tv and set the remote and my phone at the coffee table and went to the dinning room to eat. I prepared the utensils and we began to eat peacefully 'should I tell him?' I though 'of course you idiot' I said to myself.

I sighed heavily and as expected he notice "you have something to say sis" he said and looked at me as he chewed on him food "umm....you see..umm" I started and sighed 'oh God why am I even nervous to tell him this' I said to myself "umm.. I have a project..and its a partner-thing one.." I said "oh ok whos is it" he said while eating "who's what" I asked "who's your partner?" he asked "o-oh yeah umm..do you mind us doing the project here?" I asked "it depends and don't avoid my question" he said and he looked at me "....Taehyun..." I said and he chocked on his food I quickly pured water on his glass and handed it to him he took it and drank it like his life depends on it cause maybe it does "blame our teacher" I said and he sighed "you'll definetly do the project here" he said and we both continued eating. When we were done Jaeyun cleaned the table and I washed the dishes. We took sometime in the living. Him doing whatever on his phone while I play with Lyla and we eventually went to bed.

-the next day-

My alarm rang beside be and I pressed ot off. I got out of my bead and went to the bathroom to clean myself and change. I went out of my room and it was oddly quiet. I went doen stairs and I saw Lyla laying on the couch sleeping and not a sight of Jaeyun. I went to the kitchen and I saw a note on the frige.

Hey Y/n I went early to school I got your breatfast in here. And make sure to feed Lyla as well I forgot to place food and water on her bowls:)

'It's only 6:30 tho' I said to myself I opened the frige not bothering to remove the note and I saw a plate of pancakes. I grabed it and grabed the syrup as well and microwaved the pancakes. When it was done I sat on the couter and eat.

After I'm done I went to the bathroom and brushed my teeth and went back to the living room to grab my bag. I went to tge cabinet to get Lyla's food and refiled her water container and went out not forgetting to lock the doors.

I didn't lock the back since Jeayun somewhat build a small playgroud for Lyla at the back so she can still roam around freely whitout us. As I was saying. I walked my way to school.....
