I can't believe I reacted like that I usually am the one that's calm

Nico holds my hand tightly as we walk back to the group and I shoot Percy a grateful look and he gives me a small smile

Frank walks over and pats my shoulder "so where too next?" He asks

Annabeth opens the map and sits it on the ground "we are here. And we need to get to Venice Italy" she said taking a marker and marking the map

Nico kneels down "without stopping that's 5 days so about over a week" he says and he looks at Hazel

"Nope time out" I said looking at Nico

"Will. Its different with two people we save a lot of energy and we can time our jumps and rest. That will cut our time in half and make it under 3 days or less" He says looking at me pleading

I hesitate "You two will rest after every jump" I say I see Frank nod

Nico looks at Hazel and she nods

"Alright deal" Nico says kissing my cheek and kneels down next to Annabeth as the discuss the route and Hazel joins

Leo comes up to me "Hey I know your worried bud but...Nico can handle himself he has changed since the Gaea War. He is a lot more careful" He says and I sigh

"I know. Just I can't help but worry" I say looking at Nico

But I take in what Leo said he was right Nico changed a lot he smiled more and allowed people in. More smart about his health

But right now I know my boyfriend is holding back some feelings right now trying to focus on getting back to our time line and I need to be there if the dam breaks

A hand is put on my shoulder and I look up to sea green eyes

"Hey Percy" I say looking away staring at Nico

"You see it too" He asks and I raise an eyebrow

"See what" I say looking back at him

"Nico. Being here is affecting him" He said and I nod little surprised

"Yea I have" I said my tone must have gave away my shock because Percy laughed

"Contrary to popular belief. I am smarter then I look" He said and I snort

"Its affecting Hazel too" Frank says and we jump as he is now there

"Do you think this their from the past" Piper jumps in

"Maybe"I say but I look back at Nico and he keeps his hand on the hilt of his sword and glancing over his shoulder and Hazel did the same thing

"But I think its their underworld senses making them sense something is coming" I said and bump Frank to make him look at Hazel

Frank eyes her and nods "I agree they both look ready for a fight" he says

Annabeth looked at them and they nodded standing up

"Okay we are ready" she annouce

Hazel speaks up "we are near the border of Germany so we going to attempt heading south east and try to make it to Innsbruck Austria" She explains 

Frank and I share a concern look

"I have traveled to China in one jump tho it drained me a lot.  Trust me with me and her it will be a breeze" Nico said see our look
