The Lives of Two Bestfriends

Prologue

 

It all started 5 years ago when my friend and I started our new jobs. We became agents and spies. We where 12 years old and we started dating these two guys.

“ Will you please stop texting him Marissa? “ Liliana asked annoyed.

“ I want to know when he's going to be here. “ I said irritatedly.

“ Connor will get here when he gets here. “ She said rolling her eyes.

“ Well at least your boyfriend, Daniel made it on time. “ I snapped.

“ Hey it is not my fault your boyfriend isn't here yet. “ She defended.

“ I know it's not your fault. I am just wondering where he is. Daniel do you know where he is? “ I asked.

“ No I do not I am sorry. “ Daniel said looking at me apolligetically. Two minutes later Connor walks in and sits down beside Daniel.

“ Where were you. “ I asked looking him over.

“ I was busy doing something. “ Connor snapped.

“ Okay sorry I asked. “ I snapped back.

“ Sorry I didn't mean to snap at you.” Connor said realizing what he just did.

“ It's fine “ I looked down. As soon as the date was over Liliana and I went to her house to find a dress for the dance this weekend. When we got there we went to her bedroom to find Connor and Daniel there.

“ What are you doing here.” Liliana asked shocked and surprised.

“ We just came here to ask you two a question. “ Connor said.

“ What did you want to ask us? “ I eyed them. Daniel grabbed Liliana pulling her to him kissing her. I looked over at Connor grabbed my hand and pulled my to him putting his forehead against mine then kissed me. He pulled away wrapping his hands around my waist keeping me in place.

“ We just wanted to know how you would feel if we asked you to go against the operations?" Daniel asked as he had Liliana stuck in his arms.

“ We would say that you're crazy and we won't do it.” Liliana snapped trying to pull away.

“ Then looks like we're going to have to force you.” They said at the same time. I pulled out of Connor's arms at the same time Liliana did and we got in our fighting positions.

“ I would like to see you try and beat us.” Liliana said getting ready to lunge.

“ Okay then bring it on. “ I yelled. Daniel was about to do a round house kick when Liliana jumped over him and tackled him to the ground. He done a counter attack and she ended up pinned to the floor.

I went to go help her when Connor knocked me down. I tried to elbow him, but he grabbed my arm and pinned it behind my back. Then I noticed that Liliana had taken Daniel down and handcuffed him to the closet. She was about to help me when Daniel somehow got out of the handcuffs and pinned her against the wall. I managed to elbow Connor with my free elbow. He hit the floor and I put my knee in his back and knocked him out with a glass bottle that was on Liliana's vanity.

She was still pinned against the wall when I looked over at her. I pulled Daniel off of her and started hitting him. She stopped me and said “she could handle it.” She started hitting him in the stomach.

Then She finally knocked him out. We called our bosses and told them to bring a couple of people to arrest Daniel and Connor. When the agents got there they informed us that they have been looking for these two for a long time. Liliana and I exchanged weird glances.

“ What are they?” Liliana asked.

“ Connor is a shape shifter and Daniel is a transporter. “ The commander answered.

“ Okay why didn't we know this?” I asked feeling disgusted for kissing Connor.

“ You never asked. “ The commander simply answered.
