I frown at the dishes, clenching my jaw as I thought about what message Tian or Jun could've sent to Jisung. That was annoying. Could it be a threat? Is that why he didn't want to tell me? Was it an apology? Doubt it.
"You still have a few hours left. Smile," one of the older waitresses says, winking at me. "Come on. Live a little, darling."
I smile at her, nodding and continuing my washing. All of the staff were really nice here. I just wish Jisung worked tonight. I'm glad he doesn't, though. He's been stressed.
As I'm doing my job, Tian comes through the doors. I bite my tongue, not wanting to start a fight and risk getting fired. He's not worth it.
Tian practically throws the dishes at me. When he dumps out water from a glass, it splashes on me. I breathe in and out. Don't do anything. Not worth it, not worth it.
The rest of the night is fine. It wasn't busy, which was odd for a Friday night. I take my pasta and head out of the doors. I wanted to take a shower and go to bed. Enjoy my weekend for once.
When I get into my car, I look at my phone. There's a message from Jisung.

felix says hihi felix 😂
have fun 💪-
I'm glad he found a new friend. Felix seemed like a more open-minded person. Very friendly and pure. I hoped what I thought about him was true. Jisung didn't need anymore fake friends in his life.

When I get home, I plop onto my bed. My parents were already asleep. It wasn't too late, but they worked on weekends sometimes.
My phone lights up with a new notification. I take my time with checking it.

Well, this'll be fun. Lunch with Bang Chan and then basketball after. The thought actually made me pretty happy. Finally, new friends. I love Jisung, but he was my only friend for a while.
Some people don't see me as friendly. I don't really understand why. Was I mean to people around me? I didn't think I was. Do I have a look on my face that scares people away? Is it my body type? I liked going to the gym, so I was a bit buff. I don't think people would see that as an issue, then again, people are strange.
It doesn't matter. Chan seems like a nice guy. And Felix. And the rest of the group. I really hope this would turn out well. Being with Jisung, it felt like we were two stray dogs that hung around one another because we couldn't count on anyone else.
I hope it doesn't stay that way.
