Y/n's POV
I was finding odds and ends in this place. I found a few unusable grenades, a full suit of knight armor made of Kevlar, a DP-28 aka the russian dinner plate with alot of ammo. I even found a Davy Crockett. Thank fuck we singhed that treaty with Russia. I was now armed to the teeth. It turns out that the helmet has a full hud and comms unit. I also had a heating and cooling unit aswell, I also found a few pan mags with exsposive rounds, but not many. I better get back.
I head back and get inside only for a phone to get tossed at me. I look at who threw it to see Jack in full police riot armor except for the helmet. Vince is next to him in what looks like a bunch of metal. Jack nods twords the phone and I look at it to see a picture of a girl on it. Her eyes are grey and shes wearing a schoolgirl uniform. Wait I know her, shes that girl in my health class that is picked on when I'm not there. She wants to be a doctor.
"I called in a favor from that smart kid, Raf. He didnt find who killed our parents but did find thier next target. Her names-" "Bonnie. She's in my health class and wants to be a doctor. But why is she being targeted?" "Who knows, but we need to get to her before they do. Whoever 'they' are." "Yes sir."
We get in Vince's car and drive out. Jack breifed me that shes currently at school. We drive into town and people start getting away and calling the police cause we have guns driving down the street faster than sonic on crack. We pull into the school parking lot and Jack orders me to go in and get her while they gaurd the car. I gave them my helmets comm link so they can talk to me.
Running up the steps the doors locked. I shot the lock and bust it in. The schools cop turns the corner and fire upon me but I shoot his arm and kick his head knocking him out. Sorry but I got to save her. I then make a bee line for the health class and use my momentem and weaght to break down the door. "We're engageing police in the parking lot! Hurry it up!" Jack said over the comms. I look around to see the students and teacher all huddled up in one corner. "Wheres Bonnie!?" I ask, one of them shoves her out begging to live and to kill her. I shoot his balls and grab Bonnie. "We got to get you out of here!" I explained. I then put her on my back and tell her to hold on. "I've got her! Going to the front now!" I then go into the hallway to face a swat team. Fuck. They open fire and I doge. I then make a break to the front and get outside to see the two of them do a syscronized takedown on a cop. Jack looks up and sees me. "Everyone! In the car! Now!" We get in and drive past a police blockcade onto the street.
Cop cars are chaseing us when we see a blockcade infront of us. Everything slows down as Vince turns right at the 4 way only for a tank to be infront of us. But instead of it having the military paintjob it has a bright green painjob with the word 'MECH' on the side of it. It fires a shot that Vince doges and drives off a bridge. I turn and try my best to cover Bonnie as we crash into the drainage canal. I black out.
I awake to see I'm in the shed back at the junkyard on a cot. I look to my right to see Vince in a chair looking at a foulder. He looks at me then back to the foulder. He then shoots up to look at me, and it looks like theirs a bandage on his head. "Holy shit man, you okay?" "What happened?" "We crashed and you took a hard blow. Your armor barley saved you. Bonnie patched us up. Jack explained everything to her." "What about that tank? Why was it there?" "Because they are the ones that killed our parents. Raf found out that this MECH killed our parents because they saw some MECH activity and was gonna report it. They were gonna kill Bonnie because her step dad owed them money."
"Well what now?" I asked. "Raf is digging up a location of one of their bases, but once he does we're on our own. They're getting close to finding him out. But rest now. We got a long road ahead of us. I'll wake you when something comes up." With that I headed back to sleep. MECH is gonna regret what they have done.
