Shoto knew something was wrong the moment he woke up and the sun was streaming through his window. He rolled over to find the other end of the bed empty and frowned. Tapping his phone, that was plugged in and charging on the table next to the bed, he saw it was six-thirty. An hour and a half after he would normally wake up.

The scent of coffee coming from the kitchen made him frown. He slid out of bed, rushing to brush his teeth before strolling into their living room, sitting on the couch with a cup of coffee in one hand and a book in the other.

He stalked over and stood in front of him, looking down with narrowed eyes.

"Morning halfie." Katsuki said without looking up. Shoto snatched the book from his hands and snapped it close. "Hey!" Katsuki exclaimed finally looking up.

"You didn't wake me up!" Shoto said, crossing his arms over his chest.

Katsuki patted the open spot on the couch. Shoto took it, crossing his legs over the other. "You lost my place in that book." He said calmly, handing Shoto a mug. It was steaming anymore but Shoto fix that in a second.

"357." Shoto sighed having taken note of the page before closing it. He handed it back to Katsuki who took it gratefully. "Why didn't you wake me?" he asked, sipping from the warm cup. He frowned it wasn't as sweet as normal.

"You're always complaining about waking up so early." Katsuki said, scooting closer to Shoto after placing his book on the arm rest.

"I do not!" Shoto exclaimed, earning a low laugh from Katsuki.

"You do babe," Katsuki lifted Shoto's chin with his thumb and pointer finger and kissed him gently, "So I let you sleep in."

Shoto leaned into the kissed, shivering under Katsuki sweet touch.

"Don't like waking up alone." Shoto mumbled, resting his head on Katsuki's shoulder. He curled into him.

"Want me to wake you up next time?" Katsuki asked, running his finger through Shoto's soft hair.

"Mhm." He hummed.

"Alright, sleeping beauty." Katsuki said, kissing the top of his head.

"You think I'm pretty?" Shoto asked, batting his eyelashes as he looked up at Katsuki who pinched his cheeks.

He examined Shoto's face, poking at the forehead and then tugging at his ears making the boy laugh.

"You're alright." He said with a smirk.

Shoto frowned and then leaned in close to his ear and whispered, "that's not what you said last night." He mused. Heat rose to Katsuki's face but he only rolled his eyes. Shoto reached over and put his cup back on the table before laying his head on Katsuki's shoulder again.

Katsuki opened his book back up, flipping to the page Shoto noted and leaned back on the couch. "You're a menace." He said, not really meaning it.

Shoto hummed and closed his eyes. "Grocery shopping today?" he asked sliding his hand up Katsuki's shirt to rest his hand on his stomach.

"Mhm."
