I wake up early like those birds flying in the serene sky. I gave myself a walk outside because it's too early to do something inside. I walk by myself while putting my two hands inside my pockets to make them warmer. September is more colder this year even if wala namang snow sa Pilipinas.
I walk passed by so many unfamiliar faces pero nagulat ako bigla nang may tumawag ng aking pangalan.
"Won!!"
Napalingon na lng ako sa aking harapan nang makita ko ang isang lalaking kumakaway habang papalapit sakin. I didn't wear my glasses so my sight is kinda blurry. Nagtataka naman ako ng siya'y umakbay sakin.
"Sorry pero hindi kita kilala" and I remove his hands around my shoulders.
'But he looks familiar tho..'
"Really, Wonwoo Jeon? It's me, Migs!"
"Sorry I can't remember" As I said that, he sighed and rolled his eyes.
"Sa bagay it's been 3 years since we haven't met but promise you know me and I also know you. Hindi ko ba alam kung bat ang bilis mo makalimot, Won"
"Btw you want some coffee, my treat??" He said.
"You can go by yourself. Stop bothering me" I said and walk pass by him.
"Hoy Won I know that you have that kind of attitude pero baka nakakalimutan mong ako yung binigyan mo ng friendship ring nung 16 ka, na hanggang ngayon suot ko parin" he start nagging and making a scene.
'Remember him Won..'
And suddenly memories of us plays randomly in my head.
"Gosh it's Giovanni Kim how can I forgot him.." I muttered and face him again.
"Okay okay I remember you, c'mon" he smile and run towards me.
"Gagu ka Won pano mo ko nagawang kalimutan" he walks by my side while saying that.
"Mukha mo pa nga lang karapatdapat ng kalimutan eh"
"Tangina ka rin eh" Napangisi na lng ako sa sinabi nya.
"So coffee?" He said and put his arms on my shoulders again.
"Your treat" I said and he nodded.
The two of us enter in the coffee shop and get two caramel frappuccino.
"Na aalala mo na ba ako?" he asked and took a sip of his coffee.
"Yes I know you and some of our childhood memories" I answered.
"I think it's because of trauma, Won" he said.
"I still remember those days, when you run and hugs me while sobbing because of your fucking abusive uncle. I still hate him" he said that makes me look away.
"I still hate him too and I don't want to talk about that" I mumbled.
"Hindi kita nakilala kanina kasi matagal-tagal na rin nung huli tayong nagkita noh" I said, changing the topic.
"Do I look more handsome?" He asked without hesitation.
"I can't clearly see but I think it's a no" I teasingly said.
"Tss.. denying again" he said.
"By the way nabalitaan ko na you're living with Tita mommy, how is she?" he asked.
"Mommy is fine don't worry, If you miss her you can come with me" I said.
"I would love to!" he said.

"Ma! Andito po si Migs"
Pagkapasok namin sa pinto ay yun agad ang sinabi ko. Narinig ko ang pagmamadali ni mama pababa sa hagdan ng marinig niya ang aking sinabi.
"Migs iho!!" pananabik na tawag ni mama.
"Tita it's been a while" he said and hug my mother.
"Hindi ko alam kung si Migs talaga ang anak nyo o ako" sabi ko.
"Nagselos ka naman agad, anak" sabi ni mama.
"Won naman syempre future son-in-law ako ni Tita noh" panunukso ni Mingyu sakin.
"Yan ka na naman sa kalokohan mo Migs" sabi ko at tinignan siya ng masama.
"Sweetie tanggap ko si Migs so no need to deny it" mama teasingly said.
"Ma naman, pati ba naman ikaw" sabi ko and they both laugh at me.
"Oh excuse myself, sweeties. Naiwan ko ung niluluto ko sa kusina. By the way you look more handsome and taller since the last I met you, Migs" she said before entering in the kitchen.
"Tita you haven't seen me since I was 19 so it's normal" Migs shouted said and laugh. I heard my mother giggling as she heard that.
We both sat in the sofa and he roam his eyes around the living room. I was staring at him for almost a minute and our eyes finally met. He chuckled and look away that makes me feel awkward.
"Won.." he called my name so I look at him and I see happiness in his eyes.
"Hmm??" I hummed in response.
"I miss you so much" he said and hugged me tightly.
'I miss you too, Migs..'
