Harry was sitting uncomfortably in a armchair in front of a large desk. This was one of the most uncomfortable places he had been in a hot moment.
The large windows poured early morning light through them. The desk was stained a dark color and there were knick knacks and photos placed on it.
There were live green plants that popped against the rather dark room. Harry's leg bounced crazily. His hands were sweating and he wiped them repeatedly on his trousers.
He was in his healer uniform considering he had work right after this. He felt under-dressed.
The room smelt expensive as well. Like eucalyptus dripping in warm vanilla. He also smelt bourbon or another warm liquor. Part of him wondered, if the man he had slept with (what seemed like many years ago), smelt like this then.
Thinking about the countless times Harry had been with the man and trying to recall his scent was making the room feel hot. He felt almost feverish.
He heard shoes clicking down the hall, they stopped at the door Harry was sitting behind. Harry took deep breaths and tried to not think of the sex they had had.
Soon, he heard the door handle jiggle slightly then click open. The shoes clicked inside the room and Harry stood quickly.
Spinning around he looked the man in the face.
Draco Malfoy was just as stunning as he was all those years ago. Now though, age had patinaed him into something that could only be described as gorgeous.
His hair was longer than the way he kept it in Hogwarts Harry noted. His suit was taliored in such a way that made Harry so incredibly horny.
He looked, as much as Harry hated it, like Lucius Malfoy.
Draco's grey eyes were looking over Harry cautiously, a part of Harry's brain wanted Draco to be thinking of him, the way Harry was thinking of Draco.
"Potter." Draco said cooley, moving towards the man. He stuck his hand out at Harry, which Harry took and shook before releasing it and watching the man take his place behind his desk.
"Malfoy." Harry said, pulling at a button on his healer uniform. "I'm sorry for barging in on you like this, but, I thought it better to just show up rather than try to set up a meeting. Really this will only take a few moments."
Draco raised an eyebrow and leaned back into his seat. Harry watched the man cross his legs, then rest knitted hands on top of them.
"Do tell." Was all Draco said.
"Uhh," Harry scratched at the back of his neck, then tousled his hair around. Looking at the ground he tried to collect his thoughts. Telling his racing heart to calm, he finally met Draco's eyes again.
"Well, you see," Draco glanced down at his watch, then back to Harry.
"Well, uh." Draco rolled his eyes and sat forward in his chair.
"Spit it out Potter. I haven't got all day." Harry narrowed his eyes at the man. He may have gotten older, but he was no less insufferable.
"You remember when we used to fuck on the down-low?" Draco's eyes went wide and he shot up from his chair. Moving over to the window he snapped it shut.
"What was the point in this Harry? Are you trying to ruin me? Ruin my family?" Draco spat at Harry, barely above a whisper.
Harry smiled at the man, "Well, do you remember that last time, when we were on the train..." Draco glared darkly at Harry.
"Why? What's it matter? That was years ago! We've both-" Harry cut him off.
"After that time, I found out I was pregnant." Harry's words came out sharp and harsh with no hesitation.
He watched as Draco's face twisted in horror. He was sure the man went through all five stages of grief within a few moments.
He looked down at the ground then plopped in his chair. He closed his eyes and took deep breaths. He put his head in his hands and mumbled incoherently.
"That was years ago Harry." He knew where Draco was taking this. He stood before Draco could talk anymore, he was gonna be late to work at this point.
"Lily is away at Hogwarts, we can meet after work tonight for a drink and talk over it more. But I'm gonna be late for work."
