The Day Before the Wedding

Hotch: Y/N and Emily go through the back of the building. JJ, Morgan, and I will go through the front.

*They all agreed and started headed towards their assigned spots. You go in through the back first while Emily follows you in. You see a few hostages and yell over to Emily to get them out and you'll keep looking for Will and the unsubs. Emily is steadily getting all the hostages out of the building. But before you know it, you hear a loud boom, and you are knocked unconscious. JJ, Morgan, were heading in from the front but before they could even reach the door, they are blown back away due to the bomb going off. Hotch wasn't as close as the others and he suffered a blown-out eardrum, he is bleeding from the ear while JJ and Morgan are on their backs slowly getting up and JJ is hysterical, yelling for Will thinking he is dead. Emily is with the hostages, safe. Hotch is yelling over the comms asking where you are at. JJ runs in and Morgan follows her with his gun raised. Emily runs over to Hotch. *

Hotch: Where is Y/N? Did she make it out with you Emily?!

Emily: Hotch... no she told me to help all the hostages out of the building.

Hotch: Emily stays with the hostages with Rossi and Spencer, I am going inside of the building to look for Y/N!

Emily: Please find her Hotch...

*Hotch runs into the building looking for you. He is hoping you are okay, but he knows first-hand how dangerous and fatal bombings can be. He calls out for you multiple times, nothing. He is rummaging through all the debris; the building is just in pieces. He thinks that there is no way he is going to find you alive. That doesn't stop him from trying. He can't lose one of his agents, he can't lose you. While Hotch is looking for you – he sees JJ with her arm wrapped around Will's waist. He is alive but is in bad shape. Morgan is running towards Hotch to join in searching for you. *

Morgan: Hotch I am here to help. Tell me where to look and that's what I'll do... We will find her Hotch.

Hotch: We have to find her Morgan... I am going to go where she entered, keep looking here.

Morgan: Okay boss man. I will call out if I find her.

Hotch: Thanks Morgan... I'll do the same.

*Hotch heads towards where you entered and yells out your name a couple of times before he hears coughing come from the back of the bank. He yells for Morgan and runs towards where he hears coughing and a familiar voice. He stops dead in his tracks when he finally lays eyes on you. You are cut up pretty badly, but you are alive. And to him, that's all that matters.*

Y/N: *coughing* Hotch I'm over here!

Hotch: Y/N I am right here, can you stand? How badly are you hurt?

Y/N: My arm is cut up badly. I landed on glass... I think. It happened so quickly Hotch. I tried getting up but got really dizzy, my head is pounding. Is everyone else okay? Will? The unsubs?

Hotch: Here let me help you... Morgan, I need your help!! I found Y/N!! Will is alive but is injured. Both unsubs were DOA. It's over... The rest of the team is ready to see you. I am so glad you are okay.

Y/N: And the hostages? Are they all okay?

Hotch: Yes... Emily got everyone out. Now let's get you out of here and get you to a medic to tend to your wounds and look at your head.

Morgan: Y/N you have no idea how happy I am to see you right now...

Y/N: I am so happy to see you, Derek. Oh, and Hotch?

Hotch: Yes Y/N?

Y/N: Thank you for coming back for me...

Hotch: Of course, you are a part of this team.

*He wanted to say he came back for you not because you are his agent that because he can't live a life without you in it, but you have just gone through something so traumatic, you almost died, that was not the time for confessing of feelings, he thought. He and Morgan both help you out of the rubble. They walk you out towards the medic so that they can check out your injuries. Which to everyone's surprise including yourself was minor, except for a slight concussion and a few cuts and bruises, you were going to make a full recovery. Will was shot in the arm and needed to be in a sling for a couple of weeks, but he was going to make a full recovery as well. The day could have gone much differently. Will has been asking JJ to marry him since day one, and after today she realized, she didn't want to go another day without being his wife. Rossi offers to pay for the wedding and to handle every single detail. JJ could never say no to Rossi.*
