Tom's chapter
-BEEP BEEP BE- "Ugh again? This is the 4th time I've slept in. This week too." Oh shit I need to get to school. NOW. I quickly run downstairs after getting dressed in a rush. I swoop up my backpack, grab a cereal bar, and my umbrella. I wave good bye to my mom and get out the door like it's fucking Mario Kart. I then start sprinting as fast as I can to school and accidentally bump into someone and what I mean by bump is probably broke their nose. I hear a familiar voice call after me. "Edd?" "YEAH YOU FUCK I THINK YOU BROKE MY NOSE!" "SORRY, CAN'T TALK NOW I'M LATE AGAIN" "AGAIN?" "YEAH!" He runs up to me, slams a small wad of cash into my hands with a note attached saying "For you so you can get a sleep therapist, not alcohol like last time" I mutter under my breath "Thanks Edd" I roll my eyes and realize that I was standing there for like five minutes and that the principal is gonna be after me again. I can't help myself to be honest. You really can't get much sleep with insomnia and PTSD. Oh well. I go into another sprint to school, hair blowing in the wind and backpack slipping off my shoulder as I quickly bolt into school. "AH SHIT" is all that escaped my lips as I run into the pole that stands proudly in the middle of the doors. Edd runs over as he got here around the same time I did. I can't hear much but it looks like Edd is grabbing the school nurse, Mrs.Cathy. My only thought is "Oh not that bitch again." I shaking get up and put my hand over my mouth to keep from screaming at the sight of blood on the floor. It definitely wasn't anyone else's so it had to be mine. I started to panic because I hated the sight of blood and Edd was the only one who knew that. I forget why I tell him things some day so he pulls up a chair and starts to comfort me while the nurse comes back with an ice pack. Go figure. Edd starts saying stuff like " Hey Tom you're doing just fine it's ok I'm still here just breath" which I hate to admit but it helps a lot. After a bit i'm sent down to the office so my mom can pick me up from school to bring me to the actual doctor and Edd, my mom's friend child insisted on coming with so I guess he's coming along now. Oh well
