"Can you tell MORE stories???" Louis asked in a childish voice. Then again, he always talks in a childish voice...

"Yeh, tell more! But skip ahead to something more interesting. We've heard lots of baby stuff," said Zayn.

"Alright, I'll tell you about one of my first few years in school..."

~~~~~~~
We were out on the playground, having our break after lunch. We had a half hour to play with our friends and be creative and fun, but I sat alone on the swings. This new school in Cheshire wasn't fun for me at all. At my last school, I had tons of friends and we hung out and they were so nice to me. But here, I was lonely. I don't have anybody to talk to or any friends yet. Some of the kids who are a bit older than me are making fun of me. I only have Darcy.
She seems to be enjoying it here. Darcy has made plenty new friends. Actually, our situations have sort of switched. At our old school, I had tons of friends. She was constantly picked on, even though we're only about 7 or 8. When she started getting picked on, she got more quiet. She got more shy and she wasn't as comfortable going out in public places. But if anybody ever tried to be mean to her or hurt her, I was always the first one at her side ready to kick some little kid butt.
My mom and dad "officially" got a divorce about three weeks ago, but we've been in our new house in the countryside of Cheshire for 2 or 3 months. It was just me, mom, Darcy, and Gemma. Now that Gemma is getting older, she's hanging out with her friends more and us less. She goes on lots of dates and has lots of sleep overs. She goes shopping with her friends constantly, and usually doesn't get home until late. She still cared about us, and when she was home she played games with us sometimes, but that was a rare thing. Once a week if we were lucky.
"Hey, curly!" I heard a few snickers. I glanced up at see a chubby boy with short spiked hair. Around him are a few of his friends, looking like they need to pick a fight. I looked back down at the playground mulch.
"I said, HEY, CURLY!!" The laughs were louder now, perfectly audible. I continued to ignore them.
"Can he hear us?" One of them murmured.
"I don't know, let's find out," I recognized the voice of the chubby one again. I heard footsteps get closer to me. I could see his expensive tennis shoes now, even looking straight down at my worn out less expensive shoes.
"Hey, kid!!" He said, lifting up my collar so I had to look at him. We were eye to eye right now, but if he had put me down I probably would reach his nose.
"Get off me!" I squirmed.
"Ha! You think you're getting out of this. That's funny!" Said one of the goons, and they chuckled.
"What's your name?"
...
"I said, WHAT'S YOUR NA-"
"LISTEN HERE MISTER," said a high pitched voice. Is that who I think it is?
"IF YOU DON'T PUT MY BROTHER DOWN THIS INSTANT, I WILL KICK YOUR BUTT SO HARD THAT YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO SIT DOWN IN CLASS." I was dropped.
"Oh, and who might this be?" Asked chubby.
"You leave her alone," I said sternly, collecting myself off of the dirty ground.
"He's your brother? Awhhh, now isn't that cute! Standing up for your brother!" Chubby ignored my protests and continued at my sister.
Before I knew it, she was cornered. But she was still standing her ground. If you didn't know her, you'd call her strong. But me, knowing her so well, I could call her bluff any time of day. My petite little sister pretended to stand her ground, and she wasn't half bad at keeping up the act.
But soon I started to worry. I tried to squeeze through the crowd of bullies to my sister, but it didn't work. I couldn't save her.
I started getting scared, breathing heavier, palms sweating. I was getting jumpy, shaking a little. If they hurt my sister, I'd blame myself for getting her into this mess in the first place. She didn't even do anything wrong.
"Leave her alone," A stern voice came from deep in the crowd. Even after being here for only a few days, I know the voice belonged to Max Martin. He was the most popular, funny, good looking, and most importantly, intimidating boy at our school. And he was sticking up for my sister.
The crowd quickly dispersed to different areas of the school yard.
It was just him and chubby boy left, looking like they were about ready to face off.
"I'll come after them again. And you won't be here to stop me, Martin," chubby said, before speeding of as fast as his sausage-link-legs could carry him.
The boy watched him run off, and then turned to me.
"Hi, I'm Max. Harry, is it?"
"Yeh, I'm Harry. And that's my sister, Darcy," I introduced her. She smiled at him and said a small "hello" and he flashed a smile back, paired with a wave.
"Hey, why don't you come sit with me and my friends at lunch? Your sister can come too, if she wants," he asked me.
"Ye-yeh. That'd be great, thanks."
"Anytime. I'll see you at table 4 tomorrow then," he said, and he strutted off to find his buddies.
"Thank you!!" squeaked Darcy.
"Any time!" He yelled back.
~~~~~~~

"She sounds like a handful," Said Louis.

"She was exactly that."

"And we'll be right back, after this commercial break!"
