"No , no I wasn't actually I think it's quite beautiful and refreshing"

"It's new, it's refreshing. It was a new start for me. It was my dream and I worked hard to turn it into a reality"

"Wow, what were you in juvie or something you make it seem like you did something terrible"

He started laughing as I tried to push him over- emphasis on TRIED you can tell he's  a quarterback.

"No all jokes aside,that's admirable. You should be proud of yourself. That's a big thing to accomplish at such a big age"

"So should you! Mr newest draft for the NFL and don't you have a business aswell?"

"Yeah I took over after my grandad Peter Alexander"

"Wow that's amazing, Paige said you graduate in May don't you?"

"Yeah I do, would you like to come"

"Me?"

"Yeah it would be good to see a beautiful face in the crowd, it will definitely calm me. I hate big crowds"

"I would love to come"
"Okay don't be annoyed but you come across not very happy about all of those amazing things you just mentioned"

"I just feel like I've been handed them, I'm incredible lucky to have been born in to a family that's so comfortable and have no financial worries but It sometimes feels like things have been handed to me and maybe I haven't worked as hard as others who have gotten to this part"

"Did you work hard? Did you used to worry about where you would be in the next 5 years? Did you try your best? Did you practice until you were sore? Study until you couldn't anymore?

"Yes"  he said without hesitation.

"We'll then don't ever question if you worked hard or hard enough. There comes a time in life where nothing your family or teachers can do to help you get to where you need to be"

"Wow , I've never seen it that way"

"My English teacher used to say that everyone is in the relay race, when you're a child you're parents choose where you are placed, depending on if they worked hard or not and when you are old enough to make choices academically and mentally and work hard that determines where you end up and if you win the race or not"

And that night I learned more about the boy I couldn't stop thinking about. We talked for hours after about everything and nothing.
