Entering the dimly lit room, Destiny placed her bag on the floor positioning herself on a stool behind the cool steel countertop.
She scanned the room admiring the space she had all to herself, the industrial appliances that stood behind her, the black chairs all lined up in a neet row infront of her. Despite it being only a room to some, it was deeply special to her, providing her comfort when she really needed it.The girl sighed placing a hand on her chest, "Finally, a place where I can be alone in absolute silence-," she paused taking a thick, black book out of her bag, "just me, my utensils, and this boo-," but before the girl could finish, she was abruptly cut off.
"Holy shit-!?"
The puffy haired girl flew out of her seat in shock, eyes widened at the sight of the freckled face before her, soon enough, her shock turned into confusement, worry, and fear all at once. The red head just eyed her down, her gaze intimidating and fierce. She didn't look angry rather- it felt like she was studying the poor girl. Destiny could feel her heart beating out of her chest, her palms grew sweaty. All the while Freya seemed calm, still scanning her.
What was she doing here? Suddenly her poor heart started panging louder in her chest, "Is she here because of what happened with that guy earlier?" She whispered. Fiddling with her fingers she thought to herself, it would make sense for her to be here if she wasn't supposed to see that. She looked down at the grown, too afraid to look the unwanted guest in the eyes. "U-um," she mumbled tugging at the end of her beige cardigan, "Why are you here?" The girls voice barely at a whisper, she hoped she didn't sound rude or insensitive, she just genuinely wanted to know why the girl was there, of all places she could be.
Freya let out a small laugh underneath her breath, "Damn, No "Hi how are you" or anything, The hell happened to manners?," Freya treaded over to a stool one away from Destiny's, her green eyes scanning the empty room.
"Man, it's pretty empty in here for such a big ass room," she looked up at Destiny, who was still creepily staring at the floor, "Ain't there supposed to be more of you since this is a "Club"?" She asked, placing a hand on her cheek to await the quieter girls response.
"Ah, Y-yes that's right." the girls hazelnut eyes drooped, "B-but unfortunately, I'm the only one at the moment." She let out a light chuckle, trying to make light of the sad situation. she didn't care if no one was there, as long as she had her baking.
"Ah, Damn must suck to be lonely all the time huh?," Freya remarked, genuinely feeling sorry for the girl.
"Oh! To be honest not really, I actually quite like being alone! it's relaxing..," she remarked back, feeling kinda offended. Was it wrong to want to be alone sometimes? And who said she was lonely all the time?
Freya looked at the timid girl out of the corner of her eye, She didn't mind being alone huh, sure was the first time she's heard that.
The pair sat in silence for a good minute until Destiny spoke up, "So um, what's your name by chance?"
"Huh!?"
Freya answered sounding rather annoyed, how had she not known her name despite having one of the same goddamn classes with her? Destiny trembled, wondering if she had angered the fiery headed girl. Was it rude to ask her, her name? Quite the contrary she would think.
