Pickpocketing your heart

Princess chapter 5

"We're are our manners you must be exhausted! Here!" Skipp grabs a piece of the blanket and tears in it half, next he clears up a spot in the tent and places the blanket half on the ground. "Will this due?"skip says. "Oh you really didn't have to..." you say in a slightly disgusted tone. "Well good night new  bestie!Mwha." Skip says then kisses you on the cheek. You rub your cheek and look at your bedding situation. "This is going to take some getting used to." You whisper. You wrap yourself in the blanket  and use your cloak as a pillow. You lay there thinking about your day,looking over and seeing the blonde kid the pirate girl and the blue haired boy drift off to sleep.
You turn around and try to shut your eyes and go to bed but you can't it's so cold! And you don't want to wake anyone so you sit there shivering, until around midnight you here someone getting up, it's stone! He rises from the floor, looking just as tiered as you are. He grabs a bottle of alcohol and a pack of cigarettes and walks out of the tent. You get up and quietly follow him out. Did he ever sleep at all? You think to yourself.
You follow stone to a roof top, leaving your cloak on the ground. He lights a cigar. His eyes always look so focused on something but I don't know what it is, I don't even think  that he knows. You think to yourself. "Can't sleep either?" You ask . "Gah!....oh it's...you. What do you want." Stone says startled but then complacent. "Well I couldn't fall asleep." You say " so you followed me?" You make an annoyed expression and sit next to stone. " you know those will kill you right? Stone looks down at his cigarette. "Ya that's like the point." Stone says taking another puff. Suddenly you slap the cigarette out of stones hand , falling down off the roof." " what the heck was that for! Stone says angered and confused. "You saved my life it's only right that I return the favour." You say calmly with a slight grin. Stone smirks. " you know, your pretty dumb." Stone says grinning towards you." " I'll take that as a compliment." You say offended with a slight grin. You both laugh. Stone can't help but notice your shivering. " what's wrong you sick er sumthing?"  "What? Oh n- no I'm just a bit chilly that's all." Stone looks at you and then takes off his coat and hands it to you. "Oh no no I couldn't after all you've already done so much for me and I wouldn't want you to be cold to." You say sympathetically. " Just take it!"
Stone exclaims shoving the coat in your face. You grab the coat and hold it I front of yourself with a guilty look on your face. " I'm cold all the time...so I'm used to it don't worry about me k." Stone says trying to make you feel better about wearing his coat.
You wrap the coat around yourself . "It's so cold." You think. The only warm part of stones coat is the centre where his chest should be. " I guess he's not completely cold." You think to yourself whilst closing your eyes. You lightly tilt your head onto stones shoulder and fall asleep. Stone is startled at first but you just look so warm and peaceful. He sighs and looks up at the stars .
