(When I say therapist it could also mean caretaker)

Narrator POV

"Yay!" Nezuko squealed across the thick glass separating the three of you. You could see her excitement beaming on her face. "That's great M/N, when do you start?" Tanjiro asked curiously with his beaming smile. "I start tomorrow! Ill be able to see and hug you in person!" you shouts with joy. The siblings couldn't keep the excitement off of their faces, it was practically like the sun was right there in the room with their smiles.

 "We'll be able to do so much tomorrow Onii Chan! We can cuddle and take a tour and-" "Visiting hours are over, now head back to your rooms." The guard interrupts. "Well looks like our time is up for today, but lucky for me I'll see you tomorrow!" "Alright M/N see you tomorrow." Tanjiro says a little upset but being the incredibly dense male he is you had no idea. You gave one last wave and headed back home for that day. "Alright..." Tanjiro turned his attention towards the guard. They hate being interrupted when they are hanging out with you. "What are we going to do with you."

One Day Later

'Beep... Beep... Beep... Be-' "What time is it?" (The clock reads 8:12) "Oh no" 'Why am I so stupid! I overslept on the first day,' You think swhile opening the closet. It only had one pair of clothes for your first day. You see all caretakers/therapists are required to live on site for any potential emergencies and the movers came by yesterday while you were visiting to move your stuff. The only thing that was left in your small apartment was one pair of work clothes, your water bed, the stupidly loud alarm clock, and a bag of takeout from your local Asian restaurant which you had for dinner.

 You rushed to put on your clothes and grabbed your keys and some leftovers from yesterday. You left the apartment and ran down the stairs (The room comes fully furnished so you didn't need to bring your bed). You rode down the freeway looking for the exit to the bridge connecting the city and KNY asylum which is on a separate island. You stomped on the gas pedal and probably broke 7 laws but you cant be late on the first day. Your fingers stumbled over the car dashboard and you struggled to turn on the radio. You managed to turn it on and calmed down as you listened to your favorite song.

Time Skip

As the automatic doors closed behind you stopped to take a breath. It was 8:56, 4 minutes before it was your shift. You took the extra time to orient and familiarize yourself with the surroundings, after all you would be living and working here. It was a high security building that was mostly white but very modern, there was few windows. You hopped on the tram to D4, the area you were assigned. D4 is known to hold the most dangerous patients, very well known and troubled people who sparked fear in the eyes of many. The area was very understaffed in terms of caretakers because no one sane wanted to work with those patients and their records. Anyone who did was known to quit or disappear within weeks.

You hopped on the terminal to D4 (You were in the lobby before). You stepped out and walked towards the area were the patients were kept making a mental note of where everything is on the way. You took a deep breath, "Alright, I'm ready."

Today was a strange day, for one the Kamado siblings seemed happy for once which is extra strange since a new caretaker was coming in and they both hated caretakers. Some patients were hanging around in the lounge, Zenitsu and Inosuke were sitting around on one of the couches, Giyuu was leaning against a wall reading a book, Muichiro was laying down on the carpet in the middle, Tanjiro and Nezuko were sitting on a table by the door waiting for something, and Iguro was playing with Kaburamaru (His snake/Support animal) on the couch. It was quite lively this day with everyone doing their own thing until someone new came through the door.

"M/N Onii Chan!" Nezuko said while they both ran up to you "Tanjiro, Nezuko, did I make you wait?" you said warmly smiling as they gave you a hug. Its been so long since you hugged them and saw their faces without a 2 inch bulletproof glass in the way. "Its so nice to finally hug you both again," you whispered softly. After a minute or two you slowly removed yourself from the hug to address your new patients who were silently staring at you.

 "Hello everyone! I will be your new caretaker/therapist, M/N! As you might have guessed I am the sibling of Tanjiro and Nezuko here, well we are not related by blood but I like to think of us that way." Tanjiro and Nezuko were saddened after hearing that you only think of them as siblings. "I hope we all get along well and I'm looking forward to meeting and learning more about all of you!"

Something about this new caretaker was different from the rest, they couldn't place it but he seemed kinder, like he actually wanted to help them instead of get paid. He walked over towards Zenitsu and Inosuke who were wide eyed. "M-M/N?!" Inosuke shouted, "Hey guys, been a while huh? How have yo-" Before you could finish a familiar yellow haired boy ran up behind you and gave you a hug. "MMMM/NNNN!" He sobbed, "I MISSED YOU!" He yelled through his tears. You relaxed your body and patted him on the head. "Alright, Alright, time to let go. I have other patients I need to meet and introduce myself to." "Alright..." Zenitsu responded sniffling. "Ill see you later, I think your both after uh, oh yes- Iguro." They didn't like that but of course they didn't show it in front of their beloved.

As you were walking towards your first patients room your two siblings appeared in front of you. "M/N we barely got to talk and now you are leaving already." Tanjiro said with a slight frown. "Yeah, Tanjiro Onii chan is right, we barely hung out yet!" Nezuko added on. "Its ok,"  You said while patting Nezuko's head. "Well I am supposed to check in on you but since, y'know we are so close we can just hang out!" You replied with a big smile on your face.

 "M/N that's not enough time." Tanjiro said with a slight whine while hugging you. "Tell you what, after I've checked in with everyone here I'll come back to your room and hang out." "Yay!" Nezuko cheered. "We'll finally be a family again!" Tanjiro said with a bright smile on his face. "Alright, I need to go to my first patient now." "Awh..." They both cried. "I'll see you later!" You said as you gave one last wave before heading to your first patient.

As you walked down the white hallways some lustful eyes followed you. "Cant we just take him away once and for all or just kill the others. I mean no one would think twice about another D4 caretaker going missing, even though its M/N Onii chan who's so amazing that I dont know how no one would care he went missing and no one would care if people as dangerous as the D4's died." Nezuko mumbled the last part under her breath. "Well I guess not everyone can appreciate him like us. And as much as I want to take him away," Tanjiro said dreamily. "But we have a truce and if we tried to take him away the rest of them would snuff him out."
