TW: Depression (Please do not read if you are uncomfortable with this and I am in no way romanticizing this.)

4 days.

4 days without having any outside connection to the world.

Feeling yourself slip away, like a raindrop on a car window.

You couldn't move. You tried, but ultimately gave up. Your depression was back. You were getting better.

You were more happy and enjoyed being around others, but it came back. It seemed it always did.

Simon and been trying to call you. As well as your other friends. Josh, Deena's little brother, even called you. Simon had showed up at your down twice.

Each time your brother would send him away. He knew you struggled with depression. No one else knew but him. He was the one reason you were still here before moving to shadyside.

You tried to leave. Leave it all behind. The world, but your brother caught. You were in the hospital for a few days. It was then when your brother decided to leave.

Pack up everything and leave your drug addict of a mother.

Of course you weren't 'fixed' after meeting Simon, but he made you feel happy and loved in more than a brotherly way. Which you needed.

All you ex's were asshole which didn't help anything you were going through.

There was a knock at the door, but this time no one was there to answer it. With your brother at work and you refusing to leave bed, not that you mentally can, Simon looked for the spare key under the flower pot.

Opening the door he called out your name. Finding himself in your room, he looked at you as you were under a pile of heavy blankets.

Walking up to you, he kneeled down, so that he was eye level with you. You looked up at him, you eyes all red and puffy, and he just pulled you into a hug, holding you tight as you sobbed in his shoulder.

"Im going to help you through this." He said to you. "I promise." All you could do was nod but it was enough for him to know you heard.

For the rest of the day, and a few more after that he layer beside you. Just letting you cry, sleep, or whatever you to do.

Promising himself he would never leave your side.
