Sam, Mikalea and I kept running until I spotted three female coloured Autobots. My eyes widened and I called for the closest one.

"Chromia!"

The purple of the femmes turned to us. She rolled over while Arcee told Ironhide that she spotted us.

I was over the moon, happy that we finally reached them.

Maybe things were looking up.

"Layla! Sam! Follow us through the pillars, we'll take you to Optimus." She said, however, something behind her caught my attention.

"Look out!" Sam yelled and I outstretched my hand. Instantly, a blue forcefield formed sound us just as a blast headed straight for us. It exploded on the forcefield and I grunted as I was pushed back slightly from the impact, the feeling reverberating up my hands.

While that happened, Ironhide and the other two of the triplets started attacking the Decepticons that were firing at us.

"Let's go"

"Sam! Layla! Get through the pillars!" Ironhide yelled as he took damage. My eyes widened as I saw Jazz further out fighting as well.

Sam grabbed my hand as I moved forward to try to help and looked at me. "We gotta go! We gotta go to Optimus!"

I knew we did but my friends were fighting and getting hurt!

I looked at him before back to the Autobots.

But he was right. If we get to Optimus, everything will be fine.

'Get to Optimus! Get to the Prime!'

I squeezed my eyes shut before nodding. I turned with my brother and Mikaela and we sprinted for the pillars. Gosh, my entire body hurt. My legs, my chest. But we had to keep going. We have to get to Optimus.

We ran, ducked and weaved. Like an extensive form of dodgeball. Get hit and you're out....permanently.

I could feel the Decepticons all around me and managed to lead the others through places that they weren't. At some point, I pulled Mikalea out of the path of a blast.

"Shit, Megatron!"

"What?!" Sam exclaimed.

"Keep running!" I yelled.

I could feel him coming directly towards us like a maniac but we turned a corner and I spotted the soldiers and Autobots.

"Sam!" Sideswipe yelled before contacting someone else. "I've spotted the Witwickys."

We kept running and I heard Megatron's frustrated yell before we were thrown forward a little by the force of a blast hitting the ground. All the air left my body as I hit the ground.

I'm tiredddd.

I groaned before pushing myself up and helping Mikaela.

'Primus, everything hurts.'

Lennox, Epps and two other soldiers started running and covering us before we were pulled behind a wall.

"You better have a good reason for us to be out here." Lennox said, looking at us. I tried to catch my breath.

"Where's Optimus?"

Lennox pointed a covered heap across the yard and Sam pulled out the sock. "We have to get to him, right now."

"Wait til airstrike."

"Now. We have to get to him now." I spoke.

Lennox pulled us further into a corner of the wall when a Decepticon was close by us. I noticed a plane with black smoke flying towards us.
