Verry Merry

Chapter 3

Today is the first day of pre-school for me and I am really nervous. Sydney as been comforting me a lot and she even told me her experience which didn't seem too too bad. She also packed me a lunch and some supplies. When I got to Creative Steps, my pre-school, she gave me a hug and bunches of kisses. Then I went on in and I acted very shy. One cub came up to me, her name is Claire and she seemed really nice. She also asked if I wanted to play dolls with her, I kindly accepted her offer.It turns out that she is also new to pre-school which made me feel not as lonely and sad. I was definitely homesick and missed my friends. Soon after Claire and I played dolls everyone got to go outside on the playground. The most fun part for me were the swings. To my suprise, I was actually enjoying myself and the time flew by. The teachers took us back inside for lunchtime. I sat next to Claire and unpacked my apple, PB+J, and juice pouch. I gulped my lunch down and I was really tired and I was glad to hear that it was officially nap time. Sydney also packed my favorite princess pillow and blankie. Zzzzzzzz......Off I dozed. When I awoke from my slumber Sydney was there ready to take me home and I gladly gathered my items and ran and leaped into her arms. I couldn't wait to go home and tell all my friends about my day.
