a) Go with your mother and get to the party half an hour late
You decide that going to your friends party late, because you realise its better to go to your friends birthday party than to gat your dad fired from his job. You watch T.V until your mother tells you it's time to go. As you wait for your mother to call you, you begin to feel tired and sleepy. "Mum, i'm going to take a nap", you yell as you lie in bed. " That's fine. ", she replies. You awake from your sleep and look at the time. You realise it is 4:00pm and you have missed out on the party. You sprint down stairs anxiously and ask your mum with a harsh and angry voice, "WHY DIDN'T YOU WAKE ME UP?". She replies, "You didn't wake up when I came, instead you put the blanket over your head and told me to leave you alone". You rush to the room, and call your friend. The party has finished and you didn't get to give him your present, and go to the party. "Sorry son, but There is always next year", your mother says. You tealise that she is right, so you call your friend and let them know that your sorry. Never mind, you always have another party to go to.
