02: Caught in Action

JEONGHYE'S POV

"Jeonghye!" I look at the back to the person who calls me.

Ahh, it's Park Yuna.

She immediately run to my way as she was smiling the whole time. I was trying to figure out whether her cheeks get hurt because of how high her smile line is.

I tried to plaster a smile in front of her. I've been trying to avoid her for a few months now, but I can't get away from this torture. When she called, I knew something was wrong. It was still something related to...

"Anneyeong Jeonghye! You know the drill! Thank you so much!" she exclaimed as she handed me a letter scented with her sickening perfume.

As I accepted the letter, I quickly nodded. She waved her hand goodbye right away.

As she vanished in front of me, I let out a deep sigh and resumed my walk into my classroom.

Now that I have arrived in our class, I almost froze out when I saw a pile of letters on my table. Everyone is looking at me as I walk to my table.

"Woah Jeonghye daebak, look at you, got all famous this month once again," Han Shina exclaimed, clapping her hands in disbelief.

I just pretend to laugh at her while pondering what I should do about these letters. Should I burn them? They put in a lot of work just to make this.

"You can just throw it away, you know? Besides, those letters aren't for you, so why bother?" Shina said. That is correct. Those letters are for Sunghoon, not for me.

This winter's Olympics will begin soon, and Sunghoon will compete in the Male Figure Skating category. Of course, people were aware of his existence. There's no way he's unknown in this country, and the fact that he's my neighbor has driven me insane.

I simply sigh in disbelief. I began to stuff the letters into my bag. Waiting the day to end.

"Ah FUCK! There's no way I'm going to beat you with this!" Jay cried as he handed to Heeseung his last bet money.

Heeseung mockingly grins as he counts the money he earned from Jay. Knowing Heeseung, he is an ace when it comes to the arcade.

"How about you, Jake? Wanna beat me?" Heeseung asked confidently.

"After seeing this, I think I'll pass," I explained. There's no way I'll beat him.
