If Only We Had Forever

The Invite

Avery p.o.v

I walked into school and was almost tackled by my best friend Leah.
"Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god!!! Did you hear?," she practically screamed at me as we walked down the hallway towards our lockers.
"Heard what?," I said, only half paying attention.
"John Ficsher is throwing a party this Friday night and even better.... we're invited!!!," she squealed.
I almost dropped my stuff on the ground in front of me.
"Are you serious?!," I've had a crush on John since the beginning of 8th grade and that was 3 years ago. I don't even think he knows I exist though.
We talk about what we're gonna wear as we walk up to our lockers and gather our stuff for our first few classes.
As I wait for Leah to finish reapplying her lip gloss, I lean up against a locker near hers and daydream about John. I'm thinking about him and his toned arms when I feel a tap on my shoulder.
I whip around and see the toned arm that I just saw in my fantasy.

Sorry that chapter was short, but i wanted to leave off with a suprise. Comment what you want or think is gonna happen with Avery or leah. I'm having a writers block so any idea will help. Thanks!!:)
