tw. blood, gore. "i love you too, but this has to be done." george pushed the glass into his neck, blood poured from his neck. dream pov. dream lunged over and tackled george onto the ground. the piece of glass escaped georges fingertips. dream grabbed the towel off the sink, pushing it on georges neck to maybe stop the bleeding. he was bleeding bad. "SAPNAP, GET DOWN HERE!" it was one in the morning, no doubt was sapnap sleeping. "SAPNAP PLEASE GET THE FUCK DOWN HERE!!" dream heard footsteps run fast down the basement stairs. sapnap stood in the doorway, complete shock on his face. "oh my fucking god, oh my god." sapnap was shaking. george was laying in the ground, eyes closed. dream didn't know if he was dead or alive, he didn't have enough time to check. "i need you to grab something to stop the bleeding i don't know i just need something." dream held onto the towel. it was soaked in blood, blood was all over his hands. sapnap ran up to dream holding a large piece of gauze. dream quickly switched the towel to the gauze, the gauze was already filling up with blood. "george george george please wake up please." he listened to his heartbeat, it was still beating. he still had enough time to save him. "okay i need you to grab more gauze and i need you to grab a wrap of some sort and then another towel please." sapnap then ran up the stairs again. he was panicking just as much as dream was. dream dropped his head on georges chest crying. "please please please wake up, please for me." george laid still, he seemed lifeless. dream got off his chest and grabbed his cheeks. "please wake up please." he kissed george on his lips, still crying. he couldn't think right now. all he could think of doing is crying. sapnap ran down the stairs. he was holding more gauze, a new towel, a bandage and a wrap. "thank you thank you so much." sapnap kneeled besides dream, putting his hand in his shoulder. "okay can you hold this gauze down while i get ready to replace it." dream was stuttering but sapnap could still understand him. sapnap put his hands on the gauze, he was applying pressure. but dream could tell he was pushing too hard. "no you're pushing to hard you could damage his trachea, do it like this please." he showed sapnap how to do it. he only used his fingertips and applied minimal pressure in the right spot. sapnap observed and did the same. "okay dr. dream, who knew you were such a life saver." sapnap laughed. he was trying to make dream feel better, but dream didn't take that lightly. "this isn't a fucking laughing matter nick, either try to help or fucking leave." sapnap sat in silence, he was still applying pressure to georges neck. "okay i'm going to count to 3 and then your going to take the gauze off quickly and then i'll replace it." "1." "2." "3." sapnap moved his hand out of the way fast, making sure not to get in dreams way. sapnap saw the wound, he felt sick to his stomach. he got up and ran to the toilet, he sat at the toilet dry heaving. dream switched the gauze out and put the wrap over it and put the towel over all of it. "nick can you get out for a minute so i can do something." dreams voice cracked, he was still crying. "yes, can you just give me a minute." he said with his head over the toilet. dream stared at george. his love was on the verge of death. he couldn't stand seeing him like this. he shut his eyes tightly. the image of george pushing the glass into his skin replayed in his mind over and over, there was no way this thought was leaving his head. sapnap got up, holding his stomach. he was trying not to throw up. "i'll be upstairs if you need me." dream nodded at sapnap. dream heard the door close. his sobs echoed in the bathroom, why did he let this happen. he laid his head on georges chest, sobbing into his shirt. george laid lifeless, although dream could hear his heartbeat it slowed down more and more every second. "hey george i heard this song the other day, it reminded me of you. i was going to sing it to you last night but you fell asleep. so i'll sing it to you now. he inhaled slowly and exhaled fast. "i'm headed straight for the floor...... the alcohol served it's tour...." his voice broke. his heart ached. "i've got this shake in my legs..... shaking the thoughts from my head...... but who put these waves in the door.... i crack and out...i...pour." he inhaled, sniffling as he continued crying. "i'm mr. loverman....and i miss my loverman....i'm mr. loverman....ohhh and i miss my lover.....the ways in which you talk to me....have me wishing i were gone..." his voice shook with the words, he could barely get the words out but he managed to. he felt a hand touch his arm. he looked over to see georges hand rubbing his arm. he looked up at georges face. he was looking at dream, his eyes barely open. dream shot up, he kissed george on his lips. "oh my god george, you're okay." george tried to talk but he couldn't. he was too tired to talk. dream embraced george, kissing everywhere he could. dream bent george up, putting his back against the wall. he could see the blood rolling down his neck and onto his chest. "fuck." he laid george down on his back again, putting more pressure on it. he knew that george was dying. but he had to enjoy these last moments with his lover. dream laid his head on georges chest, rubbing his cheeks. he listened to georges heartbeat. it continued to gradually get slower and slower. he cried into georges chest as he listened. george moved his arms around dreams waist. he then grabbed his cheeks, kissing him slowly. dream could hear georges heart go back to normal pace now. there they were, just laying there. enjoying this moment. george was going to be okay.
