I follow where the creature gestured and stared at the keyhole. I look back and place the key into the keyhole, a perfect fit.
*click*
I turn back again as the door gently opened, but when I looked back the metallic figure was gone from my view. The door should be all I concern of, but I still wonder where the being could have gone. As I think I slip through the door and face a new horizon unlike any place before.
Delequin POV
I wander back to the window to go back to coral, I just can't leave her. I just don't understand myself, I feel like I'm broken and the memories won't go away when she's not here. She's like the beauty who can cure all my sadness, and I'm just a broken monster. I regret all my past mistakes...I am a disappointment, disgrace, a mistake it feels. I walk through the window and my vision brings me to earth once again. I look around for her, hoping she wouldn't notice, and then I see a sight like my nightmares foretold. "Coral...oh no." I rush to her, she lays there motionless.
