"uhmmm, ok don't make fun of me but pink"naami said biting her nails.
Ezra made a face before speaking again.
" I wasn't gonna make fun of you " ezra said sitting up.
" yeah yeah. anyways what's your favorite color?" naami asked
"blue" Ezra said. Straight to the point.

"unpopular opinions go" naami said jumping up and down on her bed with phone on her bed.
"okay um this generation isn't soft we just stand up for ourselves. now you go" ezra said playing 2k.
"ah good one okay, um calling a transgender out when they are wrong doesn't make you transphobic, go" naami said still jumping.
"mhm depends on what they say. African Americans are treated differently, ah shit" ezra said cursing because she missed the shot.

"what? Is everything okay?" naami said worried.
"oh my bad mama I didn't mean to scare you, I got excited cause I won"ezra said chuckling at the sound of worry in naami's voice.
"oh well in that case, YAYYY"naami said jumping up again.

Ezra chuckled she could tell naami was getting sleepy. In the 2 months they've know each other they grew to know a lot about one another.
" don't laugh Im for realll. Sometimes things just don't feel real. "
" go to sleep mimi"ezra said searching through the cabinets for her chocolate goldfish.
"noooo, i always go to sleep first this time ima stay up" naami said determined.
"whatever you say mimi " ezra said eating her goldfish.

"naami im tired, you want me to hang up?" ezra said putting her phone on the charger.
no response
"naami? are you -" Ezra was cut off when she heard naami snoring.
She smiled before telling her goodnight, going on mute and falling asleep.
