Reagan

"Oh my gosh! that looks great on you! You have to wear it to the party!" Sadie gushed. I looked at my outfit. I wore ripped mom jeans with a maroon tube top and my hair was in loose curls that fell around my shoulders.

"I agree. You look amazing"
Daria said.
"What about me?"
Sadie asked.
"Gorgeous." I said. "Do you think Jace will like it?"
"Omg! you totally like him!" Daria exclaimed. Sadie blushed deeply.
"You look hot. Of course he will like it." Replied Daria.

We finished getting ready and jumped into Sadie's car. I was the designated driver tonight, but I didn't like drinking that much anyways. We pulled into Jace's driveway and you could hear the music outside.

We walked through the door and were immediately greeted by Isaac. "You guys made it!"
"Yea we are ready to party!!"
Daria screamed.
Isaac pulled her in and they began to make out. Sadie laughed and pulled me through the house.

Sadie let go of my hand and disappeared into the crowd. I was looking for her when I bumped into someone.

I looked up and found myself face to face with Calvin. "Sorry" I mumbled. He smiled, "It's all good."

Jace appeared beside him and smirked when he saw me. "Hey new girl" his words slurred and he stumbled slightly.
Calvin chuckled.
"Dude, you are wasted"
"That I am" he replied.

"Do you want a drink?" Calvin offered.
"Um, just a coke please"
Jace made a shocked face "What! You need to loosen up a bit. Drink a beer!"
Calvin glared at Jace "Seriously man."
Jace looked exasperated "Whatever, go have your coke"
He turned and walked away.
"Sorry about that," Calvin ran a hand through his sandy blond hair. "He's not usually like that. Trust me." "Yeah" I replied.
"I'll go get you your drink." He came back a few minutes later, coke in hand.

"Thanks".
"So what do you think of Boston so far?"
"It's okay."
"Just okay?"
"Well there are good parties." I remarked.

He smiled at me. His lips look so soft. I wonder what it would be like to kiss him. I looked up when I realized I was staring. Calvin smirked and my cheeks burned hot.

Fortunately before he could say anything else Sadie came up to us and saved me from dying of embarrassment. "There you are Reagan! I was looking all over for you!" She grabbed my arm and bellowed, "Come and dance with me!"

As she was pulling me away I looked back at Calvin and gave him a sympathetic smile.

Calvin

I watched as Sadie pulled Reagan to the dance floor and felt a pang of disappointment that she was gone.

Stop it Calvin, you can't be with her. It would never work.

My thoughts were interrupted when someone tapped my shoulder. I turned around and came face to face with my ex-boyfriend, Aiden.

"Hey Cal."
I took a drink from my cup.
"Aiden." I said absentmindedly.
"How are you doing?".
My throat tightened slightly. "Fine."

He sighed and looked at me with pity. "Seriously Calvin. You know you can talk to me."
I looked away and crossed my arms across my chest.
"Whatever," He said, "see you around."

I watched as he walked off and my chest grew tight. I threw out my cup and went for the door.

When I was inside my car I dropped my head into my hands. After a few minutes I turned on the ignition and drove home.

Once I neared the house I saw Dave's car in the driveway. "Shit" I mumbled. I slowly got out of the car and walked to the door.
